Welcome to our cozy yet spacious four-bedroom, three-bath mountain retreat — perfectly situated at the base of Hunter Mountain for the ultimate ski getaway.

Enjoy the best of both worlds: a quiet, scenic setting within walking distance of a movie theater, café, synagogue, and other local favorites. Windham Mountain and other nearby Catskills attractions are just a short drive away.

Après-Ski Comfort Awaits:
Warm up and unwind in our brand-new outdoor sauna or soak in the classic clawfoot tub. Gather around the fire pit for hot cocoa and stories under the stars, or fire up the BBQ for a hearty winter meal.

Inside, our open-concept cabin offers the perfect space to connect and relax. The fully stocked kitchen is ready for family dinners and cozy nights in. Put your feet up by the gas fireplace or settle in on the couch and enjoy a large smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, YouTube, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi at your disposal.

For your peace of mind, there is a security camera facing the driveway. If this presents any concern, please let us know.
Pet fees are $19 per day, per pet.

Owner-managed with no cleaning fees — plus early check-in and late check-out whenever possible to make your ski trip stress-free.

Come for the skiing, stay for the comfort — your perfect winter mountain retreat awaits.

Wonderful stay this weekend. House was perfect for my family and would have easily fit 2 families comfortably. Mario was so kind, he made an effort to call us ahead and even left a treat in the fridge for us! Plenty of pillows and blankets, and I felt like we had everything we needed. Thank you!!!

Villa Gran Sasso is a great place to stay. Check in was easy and it is hard to beat how close to the mountain it is to Hunter. The rooms were comfortable and the owners were extreamy responsive to any question I had. Thank you for a great experience.

We were celebrating our anniversary, so it was just 2 of us, so this place was more than we needed, but still felt cozy. Mario was very helpful and responsive. We are a family of five and we are locals to the Hudson Valley, NY area. Giovanna is a registered nurse. Mario, originally from Rome Italy, is a waiter in a local Italian restaurant but has an IT background. We have explored many areas and sites near the Hunter area and decided what better way to have our children enjoy the area than to purchase a place right in Hunter. We are doing our best to ensure that our guests enjoy our home as much as we do! :)
