Gorgeous View Cabin - in Red River Gorge, KY

Welcome to `Gorgeous View Cabin`, a newly renovated, two-story, loft-style cabin that sleeps 7, nestled high over the Red River Gorge. “Gorgeous View” is no misnomer--enjoy amazing panoramic views of area rock formations (best viewed when the leaves have fallen) from the comfort of a new wrap-around porch, complete with patio furniture and a toasty hot tub. Located only 10 minutes from some amazing hiking opportunities, this is not a cabin you’ll want to miss!

- Gorgeous View Cabin is pet friendly however pet fee of $100 does not show in total balance. We have a $100 pet fee that covers up to 2 dogs. Please contact directly after booking to add this $100 fee.
- Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen (standard coffee maker and microwave), free WiFi, private hot tub, flat-screen TV with DirecTV, DVD player, gas fireplace, charcoal grill, outdoor fire pit, and Washer/Dryer. *Please note the foosball table pictured has been removed.
- Sleeping Arrangements: Bedroom 1: Queen Bed | Bedroom 2: Twin Bunk Beds | Loft: Queen Bed | Air Mattress

- We provide fresh linens and towels. We also include essential starter packs to make your stay easier! (Starter packs include: 2 rolls of toilet paper, 2 rolls of paper towels, 3 shampoos and conditioners, 3 bar soaps, 3 laundry pods, 3 trash bags, and 1 sponge.) You will also need to bring your own firewood and charcoal for the grill. Please purchase firewood locally.
- Please note that a 4-wheel drive is highly recommended. The cabin is located up a steep hill. Limited parking; vehicles exceeding 2 please park at the local park and ride and carpool to the cabin. Trailers prohibited.
- Prime Red River Gorge location - Close to hiking, horseback riding, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, zip lines, sight-seeing, restaurants, and much more.

- Dogs permitted with $100 fee. (Dogs only; maximum 2 allowed. Dogs need to be crated if left at the property alone.) Pet fee does not automatically add to your balance, please contact us to apply after booking.
- Please contact us as soon as possible if you must cancel or reschedule your stay. No refunds or date modifications within 14 days or less of your arrival.
- No refunds are permitted due to weather. No exceptions. Winter weather (snow/ice) and flooding can occur in our area. You should be given the option to add Trip Insurance at booking check-out.
- Please be aware that no refunds are permitted for cancellations on holiday rates, which includes but is not limited to, New Year’s, Valentine`s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

TERRIBLE RODENT PROBLEM AND COSTUMER SUPPORT WAS AWFUL!!Me and 5 friends booked the cabin for 3 days (2 nights). Check in was supposed tk be 4pm but they waited until 3:45 to tell us the cabin was not ready and would take an additional hour. This alone is only a minor inconvenience and can be overlooked as once we were inside the cabin it was clean. The next day we go to leave our cabin to start a hike when we realize we forgot some items in the cabin. When we tried to enter the cabin again we realized that one of us locked the doorknob and not just the deadbolt

Excellent directions!! Large flat area to park the vehicle- Rental was very clean. Lots of hiking trails requiring multiple skill levels in the area. Interesting boat tour. Several good restaurants in the immediate area. Only complaint was the TV was difficult to access for non tech savvy person.

Overall great experience. Quarters were pretty tight in the bedrooms but overall a nice place. Drive way and parking spaces were super steep and tight.

Great place!

The property was great! Clean, great location, love the hot tub and firepit. The only thing I would suggest is changing the mattress for the bed downstairs and also replacing the sofabed in the living room. They were very uncomfortable.

Ladies Retreat

It was a little tricky to find but once we did it was everything that the listing said it was. The property owner was very helpful and we truly enjoyed our stay. If you are afraid of spiders I suggest you don't stay here we made friends with 2 HUGE spiders on the front porch they are named Harry and Harriett lol. We will definately be staying at this property again! Location is absolutely beautiful!

Nice little cabin

We had a nice stay. Definitely follow the instructions provided, it was a bit difficult to find. The overhead lights didn’t work and because of lack of service I wasn’t able to get someone to come fix it. Smaller than the pictures show but a nice place overall. Great location!

Very nice cabin for four!

I took my daughter and two 9yr old grandsons to RRGfor a day of hiking and a cabin overnight! We had a wonderful time! The cabin was located in a convenient spot and despite reviews we had no trouble driving up the hill in a Buick Envision. The cabin is fresh and inviting. WI-FI , TV and hot tub were great ! We will def be back!!!

Great getaway

Everything my family needed for a great getaway. It's a steep drive up, but it was nice to be at the top so that the yard wasn't too steep so we could explore and relax at the cabin. We were happy to find that many of the recent complaints of other reviews (fire pit chairs, bedding, kitchen supplies, outdoor lighting) have been addressed. Well stocked and plenty of fun for all.

Cutest little cabin

The cabin was clean and so cute and quaint! It was a perfect stay for our girls trip, the hot tub was clean and Very warm! The only thing I’d advise is make sure to take extra toilet paper! They only supply one roll per bathroom (2b) other than that it was a very good experience! The one little issue we had we got a quick response too!

Cute rustic cabin, they aren't kidding about steep hill LOL I don't have 4-wheel drive so I just put in low gear and went slow! Enjoyed the hot tub and the view.

Labor Day Weekend Trip

The cabin was as described. The Google directions are inaccurate, so it’s crucial to follow the directions provided by the management. I would suggest a bigger sign with the cabin name placed in more visible spot as well as trimming off the branches around it. I don’t think we would be able to find the cabin at night. Overall a very good experience and we enjoyed our stay.

Incredible setting up on the mountain

The placed surprised us in a good way. We got more than we thought we were getting. The owner takes care of the little details. Just the way we like it. Suggestion: a couple more chairs will be great. There are six beds but only four chairs. We’ll come back next year for a full week to enjoy everything that this cabin has.

Don’t do it!

This cabin is outdated with multiple items in need or repair. Most if those could be overlooked…but the cleanliness issues cannot be. The highlight areas were clean. Sinks toilets, mostly pretty good. The loft bedroom has huge cobwebs hanging from the walls and fixtures. The power button on the upstairs tub is broken. The bar of soap from the previous guest was still perched on the tub rail. The hot tub was in good working order, and the price was good. But I searched lots of other similar priced properties….my advice, try something else.
