We had nice time visiting the area. We saw 6 elk at State Park, we watched them playing for over a half an hour.

Gereat Place
We spent quite a bit of time at Howard's place and enjoyed every minute of it. The cabin was everything we expected. It was very comfortable and well kept and as advertised. I'm sure anyone would enjoy stying there.
Even being aware of the smaller square foot it seemed a lot larger in photos. Beds were like sleeping on concrete. we joked about sleeping in the recliner which was the only comfortable place inside and out. The outside cushions were not padded at all so sitting outside to read was not a thing. The listing said small water heater but we didn’t realize we wouldn’t be able to take a normal shower. You have to race to shower and two people cannot shower in one night. Boil water on stove to do dishes to conserve hot water for showers. There was also items left from last visit in the shower. It was very quiet which we wanted (minus occasional screaming child and construction noise) and had very basic amenities. Would be great for a stop in one night while passing through stay but for my family not what we were exactly looking for.

Very quiet and peaceful!
This little cabin was perfect for my solo stay in Show Low. It was close to everything I needed but tucked away in the trees and very quiet.
Great little cabin in a great little neighborhood. Peaceful and friendly. Indoors was clean and tidy. Everything we needed. Well stocked with the essentials. We enjoyed the patio the most. The outside space could use some cleaning and tender loving care.
It was home away from home. The place to really enjoy quiet, comfortable clean and easy access beautiful in every way. My Son-in-law and I absolutely loved it. It was a father-son getaway. We would encourage anyone to rent this place. I’m always very thankful to people who take care of their place you can tell they take pride in it
It was a really nice place. Only thing that was missing was Wi-Fi. Wouldn’t have mattered much except cellular service was poor and we have Verizon.

Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Unfortunately, the listing photos and description were misleading. While the description briefly notes that this is a small property, it does not accurately convey just how small it is. The loft area is only about 3–4 feet tall, and the unit itself is essentially a very small trailer. The hot water was also a major issue. Although the listing mentions a small hot water heater, it was still misleading—there was not enough hot water for even one quick shower. We used hot water very sparingly and were still unable to shower properly.Cleanliness was another concern. The floors and rugs were not clean, there was animal hair on the beds and there was visible mold in the shower, among other issues. When I book a VRBO property, my expectation is to arrive to a clean and comfortable atmosphere, and those expectations were definitely not met at this property. We did not contact the property manager to request cleaning during our stay, as it would have been uncomfortable and inconvenient, especially given how little space there was to move around.

Thank you for sharing feedback on your recent stay. We’re sorry your experience did not fully meet your expectations. Here are some insights from the homeowner:
- Regarding the loft, we understand it was not used; many park models do not include a loft. The home is about 600 square feet and designed for a comfortable stay.
-These homes have smaller water heaters than traditional residences, so spacing out longer showers helps maintain hot water.
- Cleanliness is very important to us. Our housekeeping team, known for their excellent reputation, follows thorough procedures before and after each stay, including floors, rugs, and bathrooms.
We appreciate your feedback and are always looking for ways to improve the guest experience.
We had some much fun relaxing and unwinding at the cabin. The lack of WiFi was actually a nice change of pace. The pine trees give a lot of nice shade and it was so refreshing to be in a cooler spot as it’s already heating up in Phoenix! The neighborhood is very safe and beautiful and good for some walks and bike rides. Everyone out was friendly. The directions are clear but make sure you save check in and contact info before you leave in case you lose signal. The host is very kind and helpful and the cabin has all the stuff you need for doing a bit of cooking and a lot of relaxing. Thank you!

Escape from the Heat
We spent a July week in this cute mountain tiny cabin and loved it. The locals thought the 90s temps were hot but compared to the valley's 110+ temps, we found it heavenly.
The cabin was great and provided all we needed. Loved that it was dog friendly in a dog friendly community.
no contact with property manager but HAD to rate.

Cozy, cute spot to relax and unplug!
We really enjoyed our cabin experience - it is in a really beautiful little community with tons of trees and we could see lots of stars at night. The weather was so refreshing coming from Phoenix! The cabin has everything you need to relax and unplug and cook a little bit, if you’re wanting to. If not, there are several great restaurants nearby - we really enjoyed The House restaurant. I recommend screenshotting all the check in info before you leave to come to the cabin since my signal was very limited locally. The lack of WiFi was actually really refreshing to unplug and there is WiFi at the community clubhouse just up the street if you need it. We enjoyed some walks and bike rides and just took some time away from it all. The host is very helpful too!
Cabin is extremely well cared for and clean. Patio was beautiful. It is amazingly quiet neighborhood. Star gazing was great. I would return if I wanted to unplug. There is no WiFi . Manager thankfully directed me to walkable location to access hotspot.

Decent small place
The loft is virtually useless unless you are 3'10" you have to crawl on your knees to get around. The cleanliness could have been better and needs an exterminator for spiders.

Hi Ronald, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following:
We are glad you chose our home and we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your stay. We wish you could have been more specific in your cleanliness concerns, we can confirm the home and exterior were thoroughly cleaned before your stay. We would've been more than happy to send our cleaning team to address your concerns to make your stay most comfortable. We use local, professional photographers to make sure that the listing photos correctly reflect the property, so the features you see on the listing are accurately advertised. In the photos, it is clear the loft ceiling is a bit shorter than the rest of the home. We have ongoing pest control that manages and protects the home from these issues. We have never experienced issues like this either before your stay or since.
We do all we can to make our homes the best possible stays, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. Thank you for your feedback!
Cabin was way smaller than expected. There was not two bedrooms( unless there was 2 kids age 6 or less. No bathroom if upstairs were used and a very dangers spiral stairways down. Outside was filthy and unusable. A neighbor came over and couldn’t believe the porch. Also, there was a spider on the wall in the bedroom, so we left on Sunday morning and drove back to Phoenix. What a disaster.

Hi Taron, we're sorry to hear you were disappointed with your stay. The homeowner would like to clarify the following:- The cabin is a 613 sq. ft. park model with a loft, as clearly shown in the listing photos and description; we understand it may have felt smaller if you were expecting a full-sized house.- The loft space is designed for sleeping but does have a lower ceiling height, which is also common for this style of home and accurately depicted in the listing.- We’re sorry to hear the outdoor area didn’t meet your expectations. Being in a wooded setting, some debris like pine needles and cobwebs can naturally accumulate despite regular upkeep.- While we do our best to keep the home clean and pest-free, we’re sorry a spider made its way inside and that this contributed to your early departure.Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.
