We had a wonderful stay, this house is beautiful and has an amazing view. The small touches of great towels, king beds, and little goodies made this one of the best rentals we have stayed in. It’s obvious the owners took the time to make it nice and all of the dishes were in great condition. Our dogs were able to join us which made it all the better. We will definitely come back.
We had our special Thanksgiving holiday at this beautiful home. We loved the coziness from the gas stove in the living room, the comforts of home, and enjoyed everything we needed for a wonderful holiday and a lazy day afterwards.
Beautiful setting. However, there were issues with housekeeping and supplies. The owner was very nice and offered to fix everything. We just couldn't give them an overall fast startwriting if they fix those issues definitely 5 star.
We loved the privacy and quiet property for a short getaway this summer. Beds and furniture were very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the chairs on the deck to watch the sunset behind the mountains! Quick 15-20 minute drive to Fairplay for anything you need. Thank you for allowing us to bring our pets to truly enjoy our vacation as a family!
I have nothing but great things to say about the property. The pictures do not do the property justice. The house was beautiful and fully equipped with everything we needed for cooking. We will definitely be back
Eagleview is a beautiful, cozy cabin. From it's vantage point on top of the mountain, there is a 180 degree spectacular view. We have rented several cabins in the Colorado mountains. This one tops them all.
This was our fourth stay in the Rockies for our annual friends trip, and this was easily our favorite place of all the places we’ve tried. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend. The views are incredible, the house is immaculate, and the road is very quiet. Short drive into town for groceries and a nice drive to Breckinridge if you want to explore that area. I’m hesitant to say to book this place because I want it available every time we want to rent it…LOL.
Comfortable cabin/house with gorgeous views. We found the cabin to be spacious for two couples. The location is very remote so it was peaceful, which was a nice change of pace. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. A bonus is that we were allowed to bring our two dogs and I think they had as much fun as we did. The only reason why I’m not giving this five stars is there was no soap in the shower container in the downstairs bathroom and there was a lot of dust bunnies on the ceiling fan in the loft. When we turned the fan on the dust bunnies flew all over the bed and floor, etc. Fortunately, we had access to a vacuum cleaner that enabled us to clean up the mess. The fans were needed for the warm days and evenings.

Liked: Location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Ok overall
Could not access the property because the code was wrong, and it took twelve phone calls to get a hold of the property manager. Cleanliness left much to be desired, including dirty underwear from a previous guest under one of the beds. One of the toilets was broken and the appliances are all extremely cheap. The surroundings made up for a lot, just breathtakingly beautiful!

Response from VrboOwner on 13 Oct 2022
Angela, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
-We first want to apologize for the wait when trying to access the property. This was a result of miscommunication between us and our host group. We are usually quick to respond in these types of situations; it is an issue we have addressed so that it does not reoccur.
-Cleanliness is of the utmost importance to us so we are very disappointed to hear of some of the apparent issues that you experienced upon arrival. We use a cleaning service to have the home professionally cleaned before each guest's arrival. We only wish you had reached out to the Guest Contact during your stay to have issues like these resolved. We would have done everything we could to resolve them immediately so that you could enjoy the home. We have spoken with our cleaning crew to ensure that these problems do not recur for future travelers.
-We are taking your feedback regarding the appliances into consideration.
-We are glad that you appreciated the beautiful views the property has to offer.
Thank you for your insight, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon!
Our group of 6 (4 adults and 2 teenagers), enjoyed our 5 night stay. We fell in love with the view in the photos and were beyond delighted to see the exact same view in person. The cabin was well stocked and comfortable. We especially loved the 3 king beds - I wish more rentals would have bedrooms with king beds. The cabin was very, very clean. Hand sanitizer was provided with soap at the sinks and there were sanitizing wipes under the kitchen sink. The bedrooms were very large and roomy.
The cabin provided several 'extras' - wine, snacks, games, Netflix, laundry facilities with detergent, dishwashing soap, bottles of water....
Plenty of hot water for showers and the water pressure was great. Morning sun woke us up as the bedrooms all have east facing windows. Blinds helped but once the sun got up in the sky, it was daylight in the bedroom.
My nephew enjoyed a daily nap in the hammocks.
With the west windows, the afternoon could get warm in the living area. Usually clouds and/or rain showers would kick up a cool breeze and keep the room cooled.
No neighbors so it was very quiet and peaceful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay.
House
The listing was as advertised. There was a nice view, and we could hear the rambling Trout Creek below from the deck. There’s something soothing about hearing a stream flowing over rocks. The deck was a great viewing platform for watching the storms move across the mountains. Inside, there was plenty of room and places to sit and rest for everyone. During the nighttime hours, a nice breeze would cool the house down to the point that many times, we had to close the windows. The ceiling fans were used the entire time we were there.
Amenities
Having two bathrooms was nice. Bathroom were clean and well stocked. Once in the bedrooms, it was like being alone in the house. No noise could be heard from the upstairs bedroom to the lower bedrooms and vice versa. We like to watch shows and movies in our down time and the streaming services provided were nice. Having a washer and dryer in the house was nice, this allowed us to pack lighter and wash our dirty clothes before heading back home. WIFI signal was ample. Given the location, it was enough to stream videos on devices though. So, all in all it was good.
Overall, it was a good stay. We had a good time and were able to rest sufficiently for the next day’s activities. I recommend this listing to others. We don’t usually visit the same area twice because there is so much of the state to see, but we would stay here again.

Colorado Heaven!
We chose this cabin for the beautiful deck and amazing views. We were not disappointed. Incredible views! Plan to be at the cabin for the sunsets. We had a very relaxing weekend listening to the sound of the wind and the stream below. Far enough away from the city chaos to make you feel like you are on vacation and truly disconnect. Will stay here again.
Excellent view in this very comfortable home. Just far enough to feel away from others but close enough to get what you need. The view from the front and back porches is outstanding.
Recommend Rocky Mountain Cigar Company and the Shaggy Sheep for brunch or dinner. This is an excellent place to stay!
The property was perfect but that was only because of the property owner.
VRBO needs to live up to their promises when it comes to customer care. The cabin owner had to cancel our original reservations and VRBO told us they were going to put us up in a hotel for two nights and did NOT do that. I was told to turn in my receipt from the hotel and they would reimburse me and I am still fighting for that a week later. Kevin the property owner is the greatest but VRBO needs lots of work.
Great property . Owner has made an above avg attempt to have property clean and well stocked with items a person my have forgotten. But take what you need, it not just a skip over to town. No idea why someone would think the property needs an update. Its very current. Quality firm mattress in the upstairs bed-no back pain. A bit of a drive to get to the property, but be patient, the property is worth the drive. A very reasonable drive from Denver area for a long weekend. Its a beautiful proiperty with a huge deck view of the valley. We would stay there again! A tip: for summer months, as soon you arrive, get those upstairs windows open to cool the place down as there is no A/C for better first night sleeping. Also, close the windows when you leave, if you travel a bit a ways from the cabin, as rainstorms can roll through.
