It was very homey. We were there for 3 nights. We enjoyed the fire pit where we made our supper. The open floor plan allowed all of us to interact easily while making breakfast.

Relaxing Long Weekend
Waters Edge was the perfect getaway for a long weekend! There was plenty of room for my family of four and 3 extended family members and the cabin was so comfy. The kids loved hanging around the fire pit with their dad and sleeping in the loft. We can't wait to come back!
We enjoyed the overnight stay. We were not able to get down to the lake via the end of the road was washed out and blocked by fallen trees. But cabin was relaxing and clean. Kids enjoyed the loft bunks. The back patio porch had a relaxing view.
This cabin was super cozy, the view was gorgeous, and the owner Mark was amazing! Mark made sure we had everything we needed. We didnt even notice or hear any neighbors and the birds are so wonderful to listen to in the morning. My family is pretty tall so the bathroom was a little small, but worth it for such a beautiful and secluded cabin. If you're looking for cozy and away from civilization like we were, this is it!!!
We had a great time at the Cabin. It was large enough for my family (4 kids and 3 adults,) and had everything we would need to cook a wonderful meal (kitchen appliance-wise.) It was close to the water, had to hike through some woods to get there, but it wasn't too far. The night sky was beautiful, we were able to see all the stars and moon perfectly. I think a trampoline would be a wonderful addition to the center of the backyard. But, all in all, we had a great time and loved the cabin.
No complaints, bathroom was a bit small for taller people but no big deal. Also the rental next door is extremely close and the neighbors who came in Friday were extremely loud. We came to fish so we had early morning starts. We could hear the neighbors into the early morning hours. If this is what you're coming to do keep in mind this could be a possibility for you as well. I would have called the property owner but there was no AT&T cell service. Overall great place to stay and there is a boat ramp within 10 minutes.
The listing for this property description was spot on. It was definitely remote as there was a long road/roads to get back to the property. I think that’s some thing that anybody who rents his property needs to be aware of. You definitely want to get there in the daytime. There is no service once you get to the cabin so trying to get out of there and map your way anywhere is very difficult. If you can remember what road you came back in on when you get to that road service will start on your phone. Inside was ok. Not dirty but maybe more outdated. Owner was exceptionally responsive each time I emailed and sent a bunch of great info on the property before I got there. I would recommend this location.
Everything was wonderful! We enjoyed the back porch, a storm blew in and we sat on the porch and enjoyed the view. It was super peaceful. Just what we needed for a little getaway!
The cabin was just as described--great layout and space. A rustic setting that was great for coffee on the backporch and many bird calls. There are definitely squirrels inhabiting the walls on one side. It didn't both us, our dog or the kids, but the owners may want to look for the entry point!
We had to leave our three night stay one night early, our dog kept us up both nights due to two squirrel families living in the walls and ceiling. The cabin was nice quiet and relaxing during the day.
It was a very nice place to stay smaller then what it looks like in picture but not to bad. Bathroom was tiny. The only bad thing about this place was the beds they was horrible.
The cabin was just we needed to escape all the stress and concerns of Covid-19. So incredibly quiet, great accommodations and communication with the owner, very clean and homey. Yes no TV or WiFi but I didn’t miss it because of all the comforts of a cabin in the woods. Great Job!
From the Owner: "We really appreciate you choosing to stay with us! If you have a moment, we’d love to know what we could have done to earn a five-star review. Your feedback is incredibly valuable and helps us improve for future guests."
