Cosy, warm, stunning and well placed for your wintery escape to Ohakune Snowhaus - the ideal place to return to after your days of skiing on the slopes of Mt Ruapehu. Just a 20-minute drive and you’ll be up on the mountain at Turoa enjoying the snow.

Inside you’ll find a beautiful, modern interior with an open plan living, dining area combined with a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing your evening meals. After your long days of adventure, hang the ski gear in the drying room on the Koralp Ski Racks, cosy up to the fireplace, throw on one of the DVDs from the collection or pick one of the board games or puzzles.

Sleeping up to 10 people in 3 beautiful bedrooms, you’ll be able to bring family and friends and enjoy this home all together. For planning your days and staying connected, Wifi will be available to use during your stay.

Being situated in central Ohakune, you are just a 10 minute walk away from the town’s cafes, bars and restaurants for when you don’t feel like cooking. Here you’ll also find places to rent ski gear, as well as bikes for the summer!

Home away from home

Beautiful place to stay, and I have stay in some of the best places and this is one of them, it’s got everything that we needed, location is great, parking space is awesome, books and games for the family was well thought off, the laundry dry room was amazing, nice touch to the place, very clean and spacious for everyone, we just love this place, closer to the shops and beautiful walks and scenery all around this lovely little town, and the people are friendly. We will be back again.

Great rental.

Not the cheapest but warm, dry, modern, and well catered with board games, books, DVDs and wifi. I think it had one of the best drying rooms I’ve seen. Definitely recommend.
