Location was good. Too many stairs for older adults.

We always want guests to find a vacation home that perfectly matches their needs, and we’re sorry to hear this one wasn’t the best fit for your group. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- We strive to keep our listing as accurate as possible, and the photos clearly show the stairs within the home. The description also notes that “the property requires stairs and may be difficult for guests with limited mobility,” though we’re sorry if that detail was overlooked during booking. We appreciate your feedback—it helps us ensure future guests know exactly what to expect before they arrive!
Our family used the rental for overflow family during Thanksgiving week. The kitchen was nicely equipped for cooking, everything was clean and tidy, and the host was very responsive to a need while we were there. We'd definitely stay again.

Homeowner's Response: "Thank you for your review. We've passed it along to our incredible cleaner. We look forward to hosting you again in the future. Happy New Year!"
Home away from home. loved this house, clean, comfortable, quiet location dollar general half a block away. This home had everything we needed for our stay. That have a glass suduko board game which was my favorite and glass chess game aswell. We dont watch much TV there were plenty of room to play in the yard, games and books. I would absolutely rent this home again if available for our next visit to PA.
Loved the house, very comfy. It was not far from Philadelphia, but driving in Philadelphia is difficult and I didn't know that. I would have gotten a closer place if I had.
House has in a nice location with easy access to things near by. Bonus to have our own driveway and not have to park on the street. Beds were very comfortable. Being a family with 3 teenagers it was very nice to spread out so everyone had their own space with a tv. 2 full bathrooms stocked with everything needed helped as well. Kitchen was functional (did have a new oven, frig & microwave) but could use an update on cookware. We had 1 small issue while there but was quickly resolved. Our contact was very prompt and helpful.
The house was nice and clean, but the beds were super uncomfortable. Ended up sleeping on the couch. The neighborhood is under construction so it was super loud in the mornings and then at night people were out working on their cars really late.

Hi DRIG, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: - We strive to provide our guests with a great guest experience, so we were both surprised and disappointed to hear your feedback and want to take a moment to address your concerns. - We were surprised to hear you found the beds uncomfortable. We spent several weeks at the property this summer and found the beds to be amazingly comfortable. While we try to accommodate all guests' comfort, mattress taste is subjective, and we have never received any complaints about this in the past. We're sorry the mattress didn't meet your preferences. - We were confused by your comment about the neighborhood being under construction. Our property is in a Historic District and is over 100 years old. We can assure you it is not under construction and it is not allowed as the home has to remain historically compliant. - Although this is something completely outside of our control, we're sorry that the neighbors working on their car had a negative impact on your stay. Thanks for letting us know about your stay!
This is the 2nd time staying here while traveling to the Philly area on business. The location is great for doing business on the Southside. It is very convenient to the city as well.
The property was very centrally located for our business trip. The house was very clean with all the necessities for a comfortable stay. There was plenty of room to speadout and relax
House was as described. Good value in a pretty good neighborhood. Overall stay was excellent. However, communication with host was horrible. The number provided went to voicemail all 3 days and did not reply to texts either.

Perfect Home while working In Philly
We booked Al’s home for 4 months while we worked in downtown Philadelphia.
The parking was very important for us as we had a couple of trucks and a utility trailer. Al’s home was comfortable and had everything we needed. We spent some time outside grilling in their private yard and played a lot of cards at the dining room table. The towels and linens were very nice and the beds were great. Alarm system was a plus for sure. Al was very flexible and accommodating. Thanks again!
