Stone cottage in peaceful location, private covered pool near Josselin.

La Bergerie dates back to the mid 1600's, was renovated in 1995 & refurbished recently . The outside is traditional stone whilst the inside decoration & furnishings are a little more up to date!
La Bergerie can sleep four people, one double bed and two singles and room for a cot if required.
It is equipped with everything you will need & managers living on site to ensure you have a fantastic holiday!
There are 1.2 hectares of garden for you to enjoy & the covered 11m x 5m pool is available for your private use whatever the weather! Pool open from May - Early October.
A five-minute drive from this lovely vacation home you can find Guegon, where there are local amenities including a Boulangerie, small Supermarket, Creperie & a Pharmacy. A few more minutes in the car or a 40-minute picturesque walk along the bank of the Nantes - Brest Canal will get you to Josselin with its stunning medieval chateau & buildings. There are many shops to browse and a local market on a Saturday morning selling everything from meat, fruit & vegetable to pots & pans! There are small boats for hire if you want to explore the canal but if dinghy sailing is more your thing then Lac au Duc near to Ploermel is just a short drive away. Also on offer here are other water-sports as well as walking and cycle routes & a golf course.
The many beaches of the South Morbihan coast are just 40 minutes’ drive away & there are many beautiful villages and places of interest to visit on the way. The North coast of Brittany including St Malo & Mont St Michel are a little over an hour drive away.

What a perfect place to stay for a family holiday. Kim and Mike really make every effort to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. There is a lovely private pool and plenty of outside space to relax in and a wonderful Patisserie 5 minutes away! We had a lovely week at La Bergerie.

Perfect hideaway

Clean, very well-equipped, in a beautiful peaceful location, with a superb private swimming pool. Kim and Mike were the perfect hosts, helpful, friendly and discreet. We loved it!

Perfect stay in a beautiful property

Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis à notre arrivée par nos hôtes d’une très grande gentillesse La piscine est très grande et particulièrement agréable, couverte et située dans un immense parc arboré des plus reposants. La propreté de la maison est remarquable, l environnement d un calme absolu. Un séjour au plus que parfait !

Un logement de vacances parfait !

Nous avons passé un séjour parfait dans ce magnifique logement. Il est très spacieux, hyper propre et très complet au niveau équipement. La piscine couverte est parfaite et uniquement pour l'usage des locataires. L'endroit est très calme, à la campagne et très proche des magasins (Josselin est à 5 minutes en voiture). Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et très discrets. Kim, Erin et Mike sont d'une gentillesse ! Des vacances idéales grâce à ce petit coin de paradis.

Séjour très agréable et reposant

L'accueil à notre arrivée était très bienveillant, avec le petit + : un panier de produits offert ! Le logement est propre, et très bien équipé, que ce soit au niveau de la cuisine et des jeux/loisirs, et de la literie (draps, serviettes de plage). La piscine est superbe, et des bouées/jeux sont fournis. Elle est vraiment appréciable les jours de canicule, surtout grâce à son toit couvert qui stoppe la chaleur et les UV. La proximité du canal de Nantes à Brest (à environ 500 m de la location) est un atout indéniable. Cela permet de faire balades en toute sécurité (notamment en vélo avec de jeunes enfants) et de se rendre rapidement à Josselin (situé à 3 km). Le seul bémol concerne le village de Guégon, qui n'est pas très dynamique, et manque un peu de commerces. Encore merci à Kim et sa famille pour ce merveilleux séjour.

Lovely Holiday

We arrived and we were warmly welcomed by our hosts. The gite was very well appointed, sparkling clean and very very comfortable. Mike Kim and Eryn made us feel very welcome and showed us around the extensive gardens, the pool and the gite. We felt like we had the place to ourselves but Mike Kim and Eryn were on hand for local knowledge, a fire lighter and a restaurant booking. Josselin is a lovely little town and I would recommend Table D’Or restaurant. A very pleasant week.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. L'acceuil est très chaleureux, le site est très agréable. La maison est très accueillante, on sent vraiment l'envie de recevoir, et tout est fait pour que rien ne manque (nécessaire de cuisine, serviettes de bain de qualité, jeux pour enfants, lectures, DVD ...) La piscine est très bien entretenue, (revêtement parfait qui ne glisse pas) avec des jeux a disposition pour petits et grands. Les propriétaires sont très discrets, prévenants, disponibles et bienveillants, bref, c'était un très agréable séjour. Merci beaucoup à Kim, Mik et Eryn pour leur accueil et leur bienveillance.

Que du bonheur!!!!

Accueil très chaleureux de Mike,Kim et Eryn dans leur joli cottage au calme,ou nous étions très bien installés.Il y a tout le confort nécessaire.La piscine(29 voir 30 degrés),que du bonheur!!! Des propriétaires adorables et très discrets mais disponibles si besoin. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.

Superbe séjour

Le propriété était en très bon état, nous avons bien relaxé. Les hôtes Kim, Mike et leur fille Erin nous sommes accueillis chaleureusement. Ils nous ont même fourni certains produit, »un starter-kit« (papier toilette, des produit locaux, etc.). Le bien se situe dans un endroit très calme. La piscine qui est couverte est super, et nous en a bien profité, même avec la météo médiocre. Nous avons aussi profité du proximité du Canal de Nantes à Brest pour faire des promenades et aller à pied jusqu’à Josselin, une ville médiévale et très jolie.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce très beau bâtiment super équipé. L'accueil de la famille Boshier était parfait. Toujours discrets mais tout autant disponibles et de bon conseil. Nous avons bien profité de la magnifique piscine (toujours à au moins 28 degrés). Le gîte est au calme mais malgré tout proche de la très jolie petite ville de Josselin. Nous recommandons vivement ce gîte à tout qui veut découvrir le Morbihan.

Un séjour au calme, dépaysant.

Nous avons séjourné dans le gîte de Kim et Mike, des propriétaires charmants très accueillant et discrets. La maison est très très bien entretenue, propreté irréprochable, avec tout le nécessaire, c’est très bien équipé. Nous avons adoré cette location pleine de charme. Le jardin, la piscine chauffée et son patio sont un réel plus. Les petits commerces essentiels sont à 2kms et Josselin à 10 minutes en voiture, c’est très pratique. Nous garderons un excellent souvenir et pour sure nous y reviendrons. Merci pour votre accueil et félicitations pour ce gite. Véronique et Cyril

Excellent week-end à La Bergerie

Nous avons passé un excellent moment en famille à La Bergerie. Kim, Mike et Eryn ont été très arrangeants pour notre arrivée tardive et les petites attentions d’arrivée nous ont ravis. séjour court mais très sympathique

que dire de ces quelques jours passés au gite? que du bonheur.. de jolies attentions, une piscine au top et un gite très agréable, très propre! sans parler des propriétaires d'une grande gentillesse. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Destination idéale sud Bretagne & accueil très chaleureux

Nous cherchions un endroit en Bretagne qui nous permettrait de rayonner un partout dans la région sans passer de longues heures en voiture, Guegon s’est relevé être un très bon endroit, car il y a vraiment plein de choses à voir autour ! Et dedans me direz vous? Le gîte est tout neuf et très bien aménagé avec un soucis des détails très poussé. Nous étions les premiers locataires du gîte et Kim et Mike étaient très attentif à ce que tout soit impeccable et souhaitaient encore améliorer si nécessaire. Le parc était très agréable également avec des fauteuils disponibles de ci de là pour nous permettre de nous installer sous les arbres fruitiers pour choisir notre vue sur les alentours où nous perdre la tête dans le ciel étoilé la nuit. La piscine... que dire quand on trouve en Bretagne un gîte avec une piscine couverte et chauffée... tout simplement génial de rentrer dans une eau à 30 degrés... Et enfin un mot sur nos hôtes tellement sympathiques et conviviaux tout en restant très discret, il méritent que leur très charmant gîte soit rempli tout au long de l’année et cet hiver, se baigner en Bretagne dans une eau à 30 degrés ce ne sera certainement possible que Chez Kim, Mike et Eryn. Assurément nous reviendrons ! Egidio & Genevieve We were looking for a place in Brittany that would allow us to visit everywhere in the region without spending long hours in the car, Guegon turned out to be a very good place, because there is really plenty to see around! And inside will you ask me? The cottage is brand new and very well appointed with great attention to detail. We were the first tenants of the gite and Kim and Mike took great care to keep everything spotless and wanted to improve even further if needed. The park was also very pleasant with armchairs available here and there to allow us to sit under the fruit trees to choose our view of the surroundings where we lose our heads in the starry sky at night. The swimming pool ... what can be said when you find a gîte in Brittany with a covered and heated swimming pool ... simply great to enter water at 30 degrees ... And finally a word about our hosts who are so nice and friendly while remaining very discreet, they deserve that their very charming cottage be filled throughout the year and this winter, swimming in Brittany in water at 30 degrees will be certainly possible only at Kim, Mike and Eryn’s ! We will definitely be back! Egidio & Genevieve
