Spacious family holiday gîte.... Country side, Brocéliande, Médiévale Josselin

Teag Beag' in the hamlet of Goué, nestled beside the Foret de Lanouée, is a deceptively spacious stone house on three levels which has been fully renovated to modern standards, whilst retaining all of it’s traditional attractive features including oak beams throughout. It is located just 7 minutes drive from the medieval town of Josselin, with all it’s tourist attractions; famous Chateau de Rohan, 17th Century half-timbered buildings, bars, shops and restaurants. There is also a lively Saturday street market. It is just 12 minutes drive to the larger town of Ploermel, which has many shopping amenities to cater for most tastes. Situated between Goué and Ploermel is Lac au Duc, a large lake with two beaches, restaurant crêperie water-sports centre and nine hole golf-course nearby. The local area is great for exploring by car, on foot or by bicycle. Superb beaches can be found all along the Morbihan coast. The locality is rich in culture and customs , ideal for safe country walks, ,Sunday Brocantes , music, dance and theatre events. Daily fishing permits are available.

Très très agréable séjour dans un magnifique gîte très bien aménagé, équipé et décoré, d’une propreté irréprochable.Dès hôtes très accueillants et bienveillants, discrets s’il faut qui s’adaptent à leur clientèle. Très convivial, la famille qui est venu plusieurs fois en gîte on adoré les lieux, les espaces, les chambres spacieuses, le linge de maison impeccable et blanc de blanc. On sent vraiment que ce sont des hôtes passionnés.Encore mille merci à vous Frank et Wendy ne nous avoir permis d’offrir un bon repas de famille pour notre fils. Vous êtes formidables, restez tels que vous êtes. Vacaciones en familia

Hemos pasado una semana en la Gite Teag Beag. Éramos 7 y la casa ha sido perfecta para nosotros, incluso sobraron camas. La casa está situada muy cerca de Josselin, en una pequeña aldea con no más de 4 o 5 casas habitadas. El entorno es muy tranquilo y bonito. La casa está impecable, muy bien reformada y perfectamente equipada. La cocina es grande y no le falta nada. Tiene barbacoa en la terraza trasera de la casa. En la planta baja está la cocina, sala de estar, lavandería y aseo. En la primera planta hay tres habitaciones, una con cama doble y las otras con dos camas grandes en cada una (realmente caben 8 personas en la primera planta) y un baño. En la segunda planta hay una habitación doble grande con baño. Todas las mañanas íbamos a Josselin a comprar pan, beignets, brioches, croisants..... para desayunar. Probamos diferentes boulangeries locales y nos quedamos con Ô P'tit Fournil. Para una compra más grande, en la entrada de Josselin hay dos grandes supermercados con todo lo que se pueda necesitar. Desde la Gite Teag Beag visitamos numerosos lugares de Bretaña, cierto que hicimos muchos kilómetros, pero preferíamos esto a ir cambiando de casa, pues volver por la tarde-noche a esta hermosa casa, y levantarnos por la mañana en un entorno tan tranquilo era una maravilla. Wendy nos recibió muy muy bien, Franc y ella viven enfrente de la casa, y están disponibles si hace falta. Recomendamos equiparse con antimosquitos en verano si quieres dormir con las ventanas abiertas.

Gîte grand, fonctionnel, calme et joliment décoré. Nous étions 10 personnes (3 couples, 3 enfants et un célibataire pour ce weekend) et chacun à trouver sa place et une grande pièce pour tous se retrouver à table 👍 Bons échanges avec Wendy et Franc avant notre arrivée, très bon accueil à notre arrivée : ils sont tous les deux très gentils 😁 Nous recommandons ce gîte. Très bon séjour dans une location au top ! La maison de caractère est jolie, propre et très bien équipée (linge de lit et de toilette, produits ménagers, jeux pour les enfants et de société, produits alimentaires de base...). La grande table de la cuisine et le salon font de cette maison un endroit convivial et familial où se retrouver. S'y ajoutent le poêle à bois installé à notre arrivée, une grande table extérieure et un barbecue. Les couchages des 3 chambres et de la suite parentale sont de bonne qualité. L'accueil est très sympathique, à l'image des charmants propriétaires, disponibles, à l'écoute et réactifs. Merci encore à Wendy et Franc !

Nous avons eu le plaisir de cette très charmant famille de séjourner dans notre gîte pendant 3 nuits, nous n'aurions pas pu souhaiter une famille plus agréable, ils ont bien communiqué, ils sont arrivés à l'heure prévue, ils étaient respectueux de la maison et ils sont partis le gîte propre et bien rangé. Tranquil and lovely

We were warmly greeted by Wendy and Franc, shown the Gite on arrival and then left to ourselves to enjoy our week. The Gite was extremely well equipped, immaculately clean and so spacious for just the two of us and we loved staying there. It’s in a quiet hamlet but so close to The beautiful medieval town of Josselin, and centrally situated so we could explore all ares of Brittany so easily. We would thoroughly recommend it and hope to return in the future.
