This gorgeous semi-detached holiday home is a Stylishly furnished, 3 level modern apartment with plenty of private outdoors space including a courtyard, 4th level roof terrace with stunning views. This spacious house features bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms on each of the 3 levels. The rooftop sun terrace boasts panoramic views of Table Mountain, Signal Hill and the sea.

The space:
Located on the ground floor is a queen-sized double with en suite shower room, a mini kitchenette, and satellite TV. Up a historic stairwell lies the first floor with a modern fully equipped kitchen/dining area, leading onto an open plan lounge with a gas fireplace, satellite TV, and a balcony with views to the V&A waterfront and the sea beyond. A second bedroom is also located on this floor, with a king bed and en suite bathroom with bath and shower; the bedroom has a private outside annex overlooking the park and the slopes of Signal Hill. On the third floor is the master bedroom with a spacious en suite shower room, with Table Mountain views from the shower and views to the V&A waterfront from the main window! The room has a king-sized bed and satellite TV. Large sliding glass doors open onto an outside entertainment area with mountain views and a Jacuzzi. Continue up the outside stairwell and you reach the roof terrace, complete with comfy sofas, dining table, and uninterrupted views of Table Bay, the V&A Waterfront and Robben Island, the city, Table Mountain, and Signal Hill Should you wish, breakfast vouchers can be purchased at an additional ZAR150 per guest per meal. Let us know beforehand and we will have the vouchers present at check-in. The vouchers are for Bootleggers Coffee Company, right down the road.

Misleading Listing
This property looks beautiful on the internet. It is an older property. There are two flights of stairs leading from first level to middle level and another flight leading from middle level to upstairs bedroom. The stairs are well worn and are lit up by tiny wall lights that do not illuminate well. Some of the wall lights were not working and could be considered dangerous at night. We rented this place because of the beautiful hot tub advertised. It was located off the upstairs bedroom. The balcony is poorly lit and we needed a flashlight to see to get to the hot tub. The first night we arrived, after long flight from the United States, we were so looking forward to soaking. To our disappointment the hot tub was not completely full, dirty, and cold. The controls to it were in a wall with the panel off but it was too dark to see and figure it out. Also the two tvs did not work. The dryer did not get warm or continue to run. The sink on the main level bathroom did not drain and the bathroom stunk like sewer. Plus it had bugs. We sent off message after message, almost everyday, to the property manager. They did send people out to fix things but nothing got fixed. The hot tub never worked, the upstair TV never worked, dryer didn't run right, stair lights and outside deck lights were never fixed, bathroom sink and bug problem never fixed. They did respond to every message I sent and spoke with them quite a few times on the phone. Things just didn't get fix

61 Loader met our needs and expectations at that price point.
Check in a bit convoluted as the conceirge wasn't on property when we arrived, which is perhaps typical in Cape Town. Only took about 15 minutes to get him there, so no biggy. Some issues with door security on second and third floor deck doors, nothing scary, but dead bolts that took some jiggering, etc. The roof top deck is the highlight. Some issues with electrical switchology, admittedly partly due our unfamiliarity with SA electrical service. Couldn't get mid flloor heating/ac unit to work, but stayed warm enough for my two sons. kitchen area light on ground floor was inop, as were the bed area lights. The unit is clean, but showing some age. The location is very good for walking to a variety of dining, and inexpenisve uber rides to anywhere we wanted to go. We were parking a large (by SA standards) SUV and it was no issue. The driver is a skilled parallel parking. Disappearing skill, but sure gives options.
