First time staying at this property. The whole experience was absolutely amazing. Starting with the amazing home and yard/landscaping, exceptionally clean inside and out. Amazing location on the outskirts yet close to everything, right on the bike trail. The owners were responsive right away and very friendly. Can not imagine a better experience. Will return next year.
Stayed for 5 nights on a girls wine weekend and the accommodations were fantastic. A beautifully appointed house and stunning grounds. Location was perfect on the parkway close to walking trails, fruit stands and of course wineries. Would love to come back and visit the area and would definitely stay at Enniskillen House again.
A little trouble getting in to the house. But it was taken care of by the owner promptly. Communication with owner was excellent. Beautiful property. We really enjoyed our visit.

Fantastic location - right across from the Niagara River and the bike trail. You can rent bikes from Zoom and they deliver to the home. The home was roomy, very clean, and beautifully appointed. The entire property had lovely landscaping. The communications were helpful and friendly; check-in was very easy. We can't wait for a return visit.
We can't say enough good things about the Enniskillen House. Everything about this home was perfect. The rooms were just as they appeared in the listing and everything worked fine (though the Nest thermostat took a little getting used to). The location was great as well: close to busy Niagara Falls but far enough away to provide quiet nights, and less than 10 minutes from charming Niagara-on-the-Lake, with wineries and fruit stands all around. Like several other reviewers have noted, we hope to return in the future.
The Enniskillen House was just right for location, cleanliness, & comfort! Judy personally met with us and was very helpful with her vast knowledge of the area. This property is in a very scenic location, right in the heart of wine country. Niagara On The Lake is just minutes away, and approximately thirty minutes away from Niagara Falls. The property was stunning and we felt so comfortable whether inside or out. We thoroughly enjoyed the sunroom as we spent time watching the birds, chipmunks and squirrels as they ran about the beautiful back yard. We will certainly be returning to this property in the future.
We found the house was immaculate and very well appointed. They communicated everything to us in a timely manner and responded quickly to any concern. While in Niagara on the Lake we found everything we were looking for. Thought the parking fees were a bit high but that wasn't going to take away from the overall experience. Loved the wineries. We also found some of the greatest places to eat. Angle Inn, the golf course and our favorite was Irish Harp !! Looking forward to returning.

Liked: Location, listing accuracy
Property and decor of home were beautiful. Unfortunately the hosts had a family situation and we went without working television (combined with terrible internet) for most of our 5 day trip. Didn’t receive check-in information until the day of when we had driven halfway there from Ohio (7 hours). House was cleaned but handprints on doors, dirty trash can lids in bathrooms, previous tenants debris under dining room table indicated that spring cleaning hadn’t been done in a while. The worst part was the noise from the family member downstairs. There is apparently no sound-proofing and we heard laundry running at midnight, snoring, and music while we were trying to sleep. We communicated with the host a few times trying to get the entry code and after a breaker tripped in the kitchen (the circuit box and internet router are in the attached unit so we couldn’t handle ourselves) and she was responsive. When the TV cable went out on night #2, we texted the Host after several hours of the outage. Heard back that resetting the router hadn’t worked and they’d need to call the cable provider. No communication after that and no resolution. Considering what we paid, this should have been a better experience. We did enjoy the sunroom and beautiful backyard which were great for early morning coffee and animal watching (since there was little else to do until we left the house). The kitchen was well stocked and the location was very convenient to downtown and wineries.
Between the beautiful house and impeccable outdoor property, I don't know where to start. It's so peaceful and relaxing. The proximity to Niagara on the Lake makes it perfect for people looking to enjoy wine country and amazing restaurants without having to stay in a hotel. Our hosts also thought of everything. It's the best stocked rental we've been to.We will definitely be repeat customers!
Beautiful home with well manicured landscape. Plenty of room to rest and relax. Close to Niagara on the Lake with great walking/bike paths. Be aware there is another living space in the basement.
The Enniskillen House is a lovely and comfortable in a great location with a wonderful yard. It’s even better than the listing indicates. Host response was fast and happily met any need.
Beautiful yard and multiple outdoor seating areas were very welcoming and comfortable as was the interior of the well-appointed home. Multiple indoor sitting areas with an excellent floor plan allowing both of us couples privacy witch kitchen and living room between the bedrooms. Aesthetic views from all rear windows. We enjoyed the walking trail across the street on tad well.
We were in town for the Shaw festival. The accommodations were wonderful and we were only sorry that we didn't have more time to stay there since we had a lot of theater tickets and dinner reservations. The yard was beautiful and we were lucky to have fantastic weather. Hope to go back again next year.
Luxurious, comfortable, well situated base for weekend of sightseeing in Niagara region.
This is an attractive, well designed property, both interior and exterior. It is situated in a quiet green belt section of the Niagara Parkway. The home is spacious, tastefully decorated and in immaculate condition. Everyone in our group (4) commented on the rare blend of multiple settings for sitting together to chat or eat a meal, yet with ample spaces in the common areas for individuals to spread out for some quiet time. Several minor glitches arose during the stay but these did not detract from our experience. What matters is that the owners and property manager dealt with the problems immediately and effectively.
