This beachfront resort is the only complex situated on the secluded, sandy beach of Keoni Nu'i Bay with magnificent views of the islands of Lanai and Molokai. Great spot!

Good location in West Maui, slow pace and good for families. Beach is good for snorkeling and relaxing away from crowds at other locations.

Wonderful Vacation Condo

The condo was clean and had plenty of towels. There is a beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony and the kitchen had all the tools we needed to enjoy meals at the condo. We LOVED it and look forward to coming back to enjoy again.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was just as advertised. It was clean and spacious, well-equipped. The views from the Lanai were gorgeous. We love this little private beach so much. We snorkeled and saw so many turtles. We would love to come again!

Our stay at Kahana Sunset E2 was absolutely perfect. The townhouse is immaculate and incredibly comfortable. We were less than a minute away from the private beach, and the grounds were lovely. There were plenty of families staying near by us with little ones, we never heard a peep. We will definitely be staying at this location when we return to Maui! Thank you so very much!

This is a great property with many amenities to offer families with little or bigger kids. My family enjoyed the private beach, the pool, and short walking distance to local stores and beach view walking trails. We had a concern with insects or bugs in the condo, and the property managers quickly handled the situation. This was our second time renting a condo in this complex as we love the location.

We needed a two bedroom unit with separate beds for our growing children and Kahana Sunset E2 was the perfect place to enjoy our tropical "ski week" winter break! The bright, clean tropical decor, well-appointed kitchen, stunning views from the two lanai, and the ease of access from the parking area were all tremendous facets to the unit. We loved running down to the beach to swim and snorkel in the ocean, and the community pool was a great place to relax. Can't wait to return!!

Nice place to stay for family but a little overused

The furniture, walls, flooring, and decor are all very used/worn out. The beds are very old. Despite that, the cleaning supplies for use were much appreciated and the kitchen had everything we needed for light cooking. The layout of the property as far as distance to the beach and pool were not bad even though our unit is one of the farthest from them in complex. The pool closed earlier than 8pm the one time we were swimming that late which was annoying because the kids were having fun! Overall, there’s never a bad time to be had in Maui<3 Many mahalos for the place to stay.

A bit outdated.

The property is a bit outdated and has a mild mildew smell. The washer/dryer needs updating. The dryer has rust like stains in it and the washer stopped working at one point. Called prperty management they were very prompt and addressed the matter immediately. The furniture (couch) is a bit saggy. Property Management team are great and professional and courteous.

Not family-friendly, not very welcoming. Pictures were misleading, should have had better descriptions. Pool and beach were smaller than the pictures, felt crowded with only a few people there. Condo had water bugs and smokey/ash smell, even though there's a cleaning fee. Dryer was loud and squeaky, so we couldn't run it at night. Site staff was not approachable, we didn't need anything, just didn't feel welcome.

We loved our stay at Kahana Sunset, so much that we will return and stay here again. This is our 3rd trip to Maui in 22 years and our 5th trip to Hawaii. We have stayed somewhere different each time, but Kahana Sunset is the first place where we have said that we will return to this specific condo complex. Our unit, E2, was perfect for our family, Plenty of room, all the things we needed from beach chairs, beach towels, plenty of lanai seating. Very clean! Comfy beds and bedding. A short walk to the beachy area and the grassy common area where you can relax and hear the ocean and nap, read, watch the sunset or gaze at the stars. The view was good, but it isn't ocean front, but we still loved it because we could see the ocean and hear the waves. We spent a fair amount of time relaxing on the upstairs lanai, especially drinking coffee in the morning and gazing at the stars at night. The complex itself is very quiet, which we really appreciated. We used the pool, the beach area, the grassy area and sat in all the little pockets of chairs scattered around the complex. It is so close to Kapalua beach, DT Fleming beach and Naapli market. Old town Lahaina is just to the south and an easy drive. Our family of 5 very much appreciated the smart tv's and the cable access. We love to watch movies and shows after dark and having this updated tv equipment was really a bonus for us. All the little extras such as a few packets of laundry soap, a broom and dust pan to help us keep the condo tidy, hooks to hang towels and swim suits on in the bedrooms, and other similar items were so very much appreciated! We would only recommend a few additions to the condo kitchen - #1 - we would have appreciated having a water/drink pitcher, we brought cold brew coffee packets from home to make iced coffee, but there was no pitcher in the kitchen to do so. We improvised with a bowl, but a pitcher would be helpful for coffee or juice. We would have bought one and left it for future guests, but we never found a reasonably priced one. #2-an additional cutting board would have been helpful. We often had fruit we cut up, but also needed the cutting board for making meals, so having 2 cutting boards would have been really helpful. #3-a couple of light weight plastic platters would have been nice as well. This would allow grilling at the common grills to be a little easier and serving food. This info might give insight to the owners as they stock the kitchen. We use the condo as a home base and we try not to eat out for every meal. We still love to cook simple, healthy meals on vacation and make snacks and enjoy the property and these few extra items would really complete the kitchen. But even without these items the property and location and condo were all really great, so don't let these requests deter you from booking E2!

We very much enjoyed our stay here!! Kahana Sunset E2 condo was perfect for my family. There was a lot of space and privacy. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach, the pool and other amenities. The condo was very clean when we arrived and had everything needed for our stay. The location is beautiful and centralized that made our trip much enjoyable. Having a short distant walk to the store or restaurants made it very convenient and less time consuming. The beach in Kahana Sunset was very nice, I especially like watching sunset at the end of the day. I recommend staying here for any Maui visitors. Hoping to visit again. Thank you for your hospitality.

Nicely adequate

The unit itself wasn't super special or luxurious, but was completely functional and adequate for our stay. It was well stocked with paper supplies, dishes, pots/pans as well as cleaning supplies. Everything was in at least good shape, and fulfilled all our needs. The grounds, including beach, were wonderful and everyone we met from the gardener to front desk to other guests were friendly and welcoming. Only downside was that the pool entered quiet hours at 6pm.

Kahana Sunset E2

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Kahana Sunset condo E2. This was our third vacation staying at Kahana Sunset condos, but first time at E2. The master bedroom has its own lanai upstairs with a beautiful ocean view. The other large bedroom has a double and a twin bed (our daughters are now 18 &20 years old so loved having their own bed. (Prior visits we had gramma and grampa in the master bedroom and the girls used the hide-a-bed in the livingroom) this place would comfortably fit two couples and three children!! Each upstairs bedroom has a bathroom and also one on the main floor. The kitchen is packed with necessities and more! We enjoyed breakfast in the main floor lanai (even though most of the ocean view is blocked from the next unit here) - the awesome beach, is two staircases away, (or avoid the stairs and use the road!) the beach is about five stairs down from the road. We loved snorkelling from “our beach” just as great as any snorkelling excursion we have done! We rented snorkel a and boogie board. We followed three sea turtles for over an hour! SO much to see. The waves were fun and strong to swim in! The pool is beautiful and clean. We used the bbq’s by the pool- a wonderful and affordable way to stay in Maui. Mahalo!
