Come stay at this bright and airy 2 bedroom, 2 full bath town home in the renowned Truman Annex in Old Town. Leave the car at the covered carport and enjoy all that Key West has to offer. Conveniently located two blocks from Duval Street with all of the restaurants, bars, shops and night life; two blocks from the historic Truman Little White house; a short bike ride to Fort Zachary Beach State Park, the locals “best beach”; 2.5 blocks to Mallory Square for the nightly “Sunset Celebration”. Enjoy a dip in the private hot tub on your back patio or refresh with a swim in the “Presidents Row” community pool, located around the corner from the house.
Walk into the bright and airy first floor living area with an open floor plan, well-appointed kitchen, one full bathroom, huge dining table and lovely sitting area which opens to the partially covered back patio for the Florida outdoor living experience. Upstairs are two bedrooms separated by a full bathroom. The master has one King size bed, French doors open to a balcony with a spot to enjoy your morning coffee. The second bedroom has two twin beds that can be moved together upon request to form one King bed. Full size washer and dryer are located upstairs. The living room and both bedrooms have flat screen TV’s for your viewing pleasure. Stay comfortably and enjoy the beauty of Key West.

A group of us got a few houses over New Years in the Truman Annex. Our property was great. Clean, comfortable and ver convenient to walking to all the great restaurants and tourist spots. Check in was smooth. No issues.

Family week

My son (18), myself and my parents stayed for a week. The place was exactly as advertised and very clean. We used the community pool, which was well maintained. 4 stars because garbage disposal (smell)and hot tub (chlorine so strong it burned throats) both had issues but maintenance was wonderful and responded promptly so we could fully enjoy the property. Location was wonderful. Would recommend having a sofa bed couch. Two people sharing second bedroom is tight.

Great location

Location is good. Not too much trouble getting and returning keys. Second bedroom is VERY tiny. No dresser or nightstand drawers to store clothes. Couch is comfy but other chairs not so much. Pool was nice.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was big enough and had a well stocked kitchen and good washer and dryer. The floors in the downstairs were not clean and the porch was really dirty. We would have swept it bit we couldn’t find a broom. Our biggest complaint is that the microwave was broken the entire week. They could have brought us a temporary replacement to use, but they didn’t. We were surprised how often we usually use a microwave. It was really inconvenient. Location is great but the condo should have been.cleaner. It’s a lot of money to rent and not be in the best condition. We would not rent it again.

Disappointing Stay – Poor Communication & Misleading Listing

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing — both the unit and the rental company’s responsiveness. Upon arrival, the lockbox code provided didn’t work. I left voicemails and called the emergency number, but no response. After 45 minutes, I noticed a text from earlier in the day saying they’d given me the wrong code. It worked, but the lack of communication in real time was frustrating. I didn’t get a return call until after I was inside the unit. Then came issues with the parking. The directions were vague and didn’t explain how spaces were labeled. It took another 20–30 minutes of driving around and more calls before someone returned my call and apologized. By then, we had already figured it out. The unit itself did not match the online listing. Extra furniture made the space feel cramped. The master deck had no awning, and I nearly fell stepping out due to an unmarked drop. The lower patio wasn’t as shown online — instead of the nice wicker set with an umbrella, there was a plastic resin patio table and chairs with those rubber straps, no umbrella, and a neglected, messy outdoor space with dead plants and debris. The hot tub looked clean, but the jets spit out debris when turned on, so I didn’t use it. Rain kept us from using the uncovered patios. Inside, things weren’t much better. The showers were extremely tight, even for a petite person like myself. The sheets were stained and had hair on them that wasn’t ours. After our initial experience with poor communication, I didn’t bother calling again. The stairs to the upper floor bedrooms had no handrail for the first several feet and probably not suitable for children or older adults. Positives? The location was perfect — quiet, convenient, and the A/C worked great. But overall, this was the most unpleasant rental we've had. We actually ended up leaving two days early-We paid too much for what we got. I doubt we

The condo was very well maintained and furnished. The only reason we did not give it a 5 star rating was the advertised hot tub. It barely sat 2 people and even then very snugly. We were a group of 4. The hot tub was the deciding point between this condo and others so the size was disappointing.
