Private Retreat Near the Village – Welcome to Snowed Inn!

Tucked away next to the Village with added privacy, Snowed Inn is your perfect mountain getaway! This cozy two-story, 2-bedroom, 2-bath townhouse is nestled in the Treetop complex and comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests. The home just completed (Nov. 2025) updates to a lower-level bathroom and new main-level flooring  – enhancing the already updated features, including two spacious decks outfitted with new Polywood furniture.

Upstairs, you'll find both bedrooms offering privacy. The master bedroom offers a queen bed, a small futon (great for a child), and access to a private deck. The guest bedroom also has a queen bed and a cozy pull-out chair bed, perfect for a little one.

Downstairs, relax in the inviting living room with a gas fireplace and a queen-sized sleeper sofa. Enjoy meals around the dining table with seating for six, and take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen, complete with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.

Snowed Inn is 130 yards from the slopes and a 2-minute walk to the Village. It’s located directly across the street from Wildcat Grocery and a short walk to Split Rock Pools. The Snowshoe Shuttle Stop is just a short walk as well, and will take you anywhere on the mountain, including Silver Creek, for free!

**Please Note: Snowshoe Mountain Resort temporarily closes from mid-October to Thanksgiving every year for transition from mountain bike season to ski season. It is a beautiful area to explore and plenty of outdoor adventures anytime of the year, but please know amenities will be limited. Please contact us with any questions.

A Few Things to Mention



Snowshoe Mountain Resort is known as the Island in the Sky, providing top-rated amenities and entertainment at an elevation of 4848 feet in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia. Due to its location, there is no cell service within an hour from Snowshoe, and WIFI in the Village may be unreliable. Please be sure to have directions and contact numbers prior to traveling.



At Elevation Vacation Rentals we know how important connectivity is – even while vacationing – which is why we offer free WIFI at all our properties.



Ten days prior to your arrival you will have access to our online Guest Portal. The Guest Portal is your hub for important (and helpful!) information regarding your stay. One day prior to your arrival, you will receive an email with the door code, Wi-Fi, and home location information.

We had a lovely stay at Snowed Inn - Treetop 14. The property is quaint and had the basics needed for a comfortable long weekend of skiing and fun. Check in was a breeze and check out was simple and easy to complete in the morning. The location is wonderful and allowed us to easily walk to and from the village. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Cozy cabin

This cabin was just the perfect size and location for a couple days of skiing. Beds were comfortable. Only complaints would be the lack of hot water (needed to wait ~ 30 minutes between showers) and the mouse that came in through the crack on the living room floor board.

Great value and customer service

Stayed here for 3 nights with a group of my friends. Cozy place in a very good location. It was about a 5-7 min walk to the village and slopes. Additionally, it was extremely easy to check in and out. Our unit could use a little TLC, but it was well worth the price. The customer service was also phenomenal with immediate response times. Would highly recommend!

Great location

With just a short walk across Mountain Lodge parking lot, your right at the top of the slopes. Great space for a family, mudroom to leave gear, and redone kitchen to cook for family dinner. Beds were a little tough and needed better linen and some areas/closets were cluttered but that was our only concern. We had a great experience!! Hope to come back next year!!

Great location but…. don’t recommend it

We stayed for a few days and loved the location We had a great agent - Elevate - that made our check-in easy, even arriving very late. However it was an old, dirty, messy place that clearly needs to be refreshed, get a better heating, clean sheets, carpets, etc.Considering the price and quality…we don’t recommend, There are better alternatives in Snowshoe.

Dreamy townhouse in the mountains!

My family and I loved our time at this beautiful townhome!! It had everything we needed and more. It was SO convenient to the Snowshoe village and having Wildcat Provisions across the street was also really nice. One of my favorite things about the house was the big window in the living room. I loved sitting in the cozy chair, drinking hot chocolate and watching deer stroll across the backyard. We also loved the heated mud room; being able to put on our ski gear inside was a blessing! We wouldn’t change a thing about this awesome stay and hope to be back soon!

A wonderful place to stay.

Our family of four and two friends (2 adults and 4 teens) had a really wonderful weekend at Treetop 14! The condo was comfortable and clean. The kitchen has everything one could need. We brought a bunch of food with us to heat and serve, but the tools in the kitchen were more than adequate to prepare a meal there from scratch. We all slept well and there were plenty of linens. It's a short walk to Ballhooter, about 3 mins. Adrienne was wonderful to work with. She was always quick to respond to questions and worked to make our weekend lovely.

Terrible beds in a run down unit

The unit was not clean (trash on floor, bedding smelled of urine, used tooth brushes in bathroom, and fridge/freezer smelled terrible). The furniture is very old and worn, including both mattresses which were incredible uncomfortable. Because the bedding smelled so badly we requested clean bedding which was provided, however the unit over all was poorly maintained and I would not stay here again.

Hi Erin, I am sorry that you feel that way. Had you let us know when you arrived we would have been happy to have housekeeping rectify any of your concerns immediately. Housekeeping came by 3 separate times once you finally did let us know but you were not available or refused them. As far as the furniture goes, the majority of it is approx. two years old and though it is not a completely remodeled home, it is a well maintained home.

Spring break stay

We booked this property for a family of four for spring skiing. The floorplan is great for a family of four. Plenty of space and lots of seating in the living room. Very easy to get in and out with ski gear with the large mudroom. The owner had everything that we needed including detergent soap etc. Lots of towels. Owner was VERY responsive with any questions. Highly recommend this property!

Cute Little Spot - Just As Advertised!

We stayed here with 3 adults and 2 kids and this space was perfect for our needs. The rooms were well appointed and the living room area had a super warm fireplace and fit our group nicely. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook 2 meals and the area with storage for our gear was awesome. Check in was also incredibly convenient with the app. Rentals in this area are quite high for the amount of space compared to other places I've stayed, but that's the high season going rate + fees and not really the fault of the host. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again and next time book directly from the host on Elevation Vacations! :)

Didn’t meet my expectations

The property is perfect for a family of 4. It was a bit snug for our group. We had 3 adults and 3 children 1 toddler. Initially we had some issues with the hot water, but this was resolved immediately the next day by the homeowner. I really appreciated that. I was really disappointed that we kept finding dirty dishes in the cabinets. We didn’t have a lot of cabinet space to store our groceries because the homeowners frequently use the property. I ended up cleaning one of the cabinets and trying to better organize their dishes. The pros were Adrianne immediately responded when I text about the hot water issue. I really appreciated this.

Christmas in the snow

we spent the week of christmas at this charming condo.. it was decorated cute for the holidays and had plenty of room for our family of 5. the owner was very accommodating and went out of her way to make sure our stay was perfect. this condo is not a ski out property but tucked away at the top with an easy walk to the village. there was a nice community fire pit in the parking lot we enjoyed.
