Suite 211 is a second-floor suite with a breathtaking view of Lake Charlevoix. Elevator on site for easy access to all units. This unit offers one bedroom with a king-size bed and one bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Suite 211 has a kitchenette equipped with dishes and utensils ready for in-suite meals, a dining table for two, and a living room featuring a queen size sofa sleeper, gas-log fireplace, and flat-screen TV. The sliding glass door opens to a private balcony that overlooks our private beach.

Water Street Inn is located on stunning Lake Charlevoix in downtown Boyne City. The Inn is an ideal location for a short getaway, extended vacation, or wedding celebration. One-bedroom/one-bath units offer all the amenities needed for a comfortable home-away-from-home stay. Right next door to a public beach that has a splash pad, play ground, and volleyball nets; perfect for all ages. Walkable to restaurants, ice cream and all downtown shops. Boat rentals are available next door at Boyne Water Sports. Each condo is individually owned and uniquely decorated. Stay in a different room every time or find a favorite. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the building, as well as a guest laundry facility. Outdoor lockers are available for skis or other outdoor gear.

The location was quite nice, easy commute to Charlevoix and Petoskey and other beautiful little towns. It was a treat to come home to the view of the lake, and the sunsets were always delightful. We had one rainy day where we stayed in the whole day, and it was still a treat because of the views. And we slept so well here!!

Quiet and convenient

My hubby and I stayed here in mid-May for a weeklong getaway. Though many of the units were rented, we found it a quiet and restful place to stay, fully equipped with all we needed. The staff cheerfully helped with any issue we had--they truly added a friendly vibe. Our view of Lake Charlevoix was spectacular--we were so close to the water! We couldn't swim at the nice little beach this early in the season, but we enjoyed feeling like we were on our own cruise ship, even listening to the waves day and night! My hubby enjoy his daily walks to the marina next door, watching the boats of all sizes launch. Sidewalks and bike trails abound, so it's a nice town to explore, and other Northern Michigan towns are within quick driving distance, so it's a great central location for day trips. We hope to return some day!

Place has new floors, is freshly painted, clean and comfortable, and the Water Street Inn is hospitable and accommodating. They tell me more updating is yet to come which would be welcome, but it’s adequate as is. We managed to prepare meals in the tiny kitchen which is necessary during crowded summer weeks, but we’ve learned to travel with kitchen staples. A grill on the property would be helpful. The location is great and the view lovely. We’d happily stay in this unit again.

Quick getaway

The view was amazing and the office staff are professional and friendly. We enjoyed out time and will definitely return next summer. Just make sure to contact the office regarding the appliances in the unit. Each unit is completely different, and this one did not have an oven for warming/baking items. Good thing I called ahead because we would have food gone to waste. Overall, a nice stay with an amazing view.

This unit is a disaster!

We have stayed at this property numerous times and the other units are beautiful and well eqipped. This unit however, not so much. There is no AC in the bedroom, the kitchen hardly had anything in it and what it does have is mismatched and worn out. The entire unit is outdated. The furniture is worn and the barstools are tattered on top. The bed has a large sag. There is a wingback chair that literally rocks back and forth and squeaks and may collapse at any time. The owner of this unit should be ashamed to charged the rates they are with the shape it is in. We will be back the the Waterstreet, but will never stay in this unit again and will warn family and friends not to as well. The Waterstreet Inn is a great place to stay, just avoid this unit!

Comfortable home away from home with great lake view

No tea was provided, but when I left a note for the maid, it promptly appeared. Also, I had trouble switching the Living Room TV from the DVD player to cable, and the maid helped with that also.
