Four-Season Waterfront & Alpine Adventure
Summer on the Water: Enjoy excellent swimming, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. The property features a small walk-in shore entrance and two waterfront docks (with space for a motorboat). A SUP, kayak, and canoe are all provided.
Winter Sports: Cross-country ski, snowshoe, or toboggan right on or near the property. For downhill skiers, we are a short drive from both Mont-Tremblant and Mont-Blanc.
Cycling & Hiking: The famous P’tit Train du Nord bike and ski trail is just a 3-minute drive away, alongside spectacular hiking and birdwatching right from your balcony.
Modern Comforts & Sustainability
Eco-Friendly: We have dramatically reduced our carbon footprint with a state-of-the-art geothermal HVAC system providing central air conditioning, heating, air purification, and humidity control.
Tech & Safety: Stay connected with ultra-high-speed fibre optic internet (turn on Wi-Fi calling for excellent cell service). For your peace of mind, the chalet uses a Viqua UV water purification system.
Convenience: Indoor games are provided for rainy days. A well-stocked local grocery store (complete with a bakery, butcher, fresh produce, and liquor store) is just a 5-minute drive away in the town of Labelle.
Guest Notes:
1. Winter Access: A 4WD or AWD vehicle equipped with four proper snow tires is strictly required to navigate winter road conditions.
2. Storage: We have cleared ample drawer and closet space for your clothing. However, because this is our primary residence, you may find some of our personal belongings stored in designated areas.

About the host

Host profile image
I am an urban planner by training and worked in construction and property management in Toronto, Canada. I am married and have four adult children. My passions include skiing, bicycling, my Vespas and Volvos. I love to cook. My favourite foods include oysters, anything with avocado, sushi, schnitzel, steak frites, Caprese salad and Niçoise. I love to travel and discover new places. I also like returning to the very special places I've visited and learning more about them. My favourite places to visit include mountains and the sea side and in particular Western Canada (Whistler, Rockies), Mont-Tremblant, Montreal, Prague, Paris, the Alps, south of France, Amalfi Coast and Croatia.

Why they chose this property

We were drawn to this property because of its beauty and the quality of the natural environment (lake and forest) that make up this area. The property is at the end of the road and therefore enjoys no traffic. The lake has only a few dwellings on it so it is relatively quiet. We are surrounded by woods, water and wondrous natural beauty yet we are close to everything that the Laurentians have to offer.

What makes this property unique

Amazing views, large rooms, comfortable beds, seclusion, proximity to swimming in summer, all sorts of outdoor activities (e.g., golf, water skiing, horseback riding, cycling and hiking) and snow sports in winter (22 minutes to Tremblant South Side). Low carbon footprint.
