This historic gem was the first building on Queenstown Hill and the seventh building in Queenstown. Built in 1871, this remarkable retreat hosts a home-away-from-home to dream of. The architect of this home has thought through every detail to maintain the historic cottage whilst updating it with a beautiful blend of modern.

The warmth and charm will delight any guest, and the well-apportioned bedrooms will ensure a most comfortable stay. From the moment you enter the property, you will be encapsulated by the superb privacy, beautiful lavender and rose bushes when in bloom. The various outdoor spaces will tempt guests into dining alfresco to immerse into the ambience of Queenstown.

Perfectly situated within a five-minute walk from the Queenstown town centre, it’s walking distance to the shops, bars, restaurants, Lake Whakatipu and a multitude of attractions.

Stonehill Villa was amazing. We enjoyed ten days there with our family of 10 - a yearly family event at a different location. Queenstown had everything from the adults to the children varying in age from 9-16. It hit all the goal posts.

Perfect spot in Queenstown

Just up the hill from downtown. Property is perfectly remodeled and has all you need. Beautiful views of Lake Wanaka and parking.

Wonderful home, gorgeous views

Great stay. House perfect for three couples ( kids). Short stroll down the hill to downtown and the lake / park (lawnbowls!). Only minor comment is the management company offered by email a “meet and greet” but when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon the phone number provided to arrange just went to a general voicemail. Email response was the next day. Was fine as instructions re lockbox were clear. All told fantastic place in fantastic area.
