Beautiful view

Beautiful view from most of the house. Everything was clean and the kitchen had every convenience. Provided just the right amount of towels for the number of days we stayed. The biggest issue I had was there was no place in the master bedroom to hang our clothes. The closet was locked. We had to hang our clothes in one of the other bedroom closets. If we had brought our grandkids and their parents there would have been no room! Also unlike most places we have stayed, there is no washer and dryer. This would be difficult if you had a large family. The bed in in one of the bedrooms is described as a queen. This was a double bed and there is no way that my son and his wife would have been happy with such a small bed! Also we have never had to leave any property by 10:00, generally it is 11:00. For these reasons I rated it 3 out of 5 stars.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and we wanted to share the following: - The master bedroom provides a dresser and chest for guests to use to put away their clothes during their stay. - The home does provide a washer and dryer located right off the kitchen. We wish you would have reached out to the owner during your stay. They would have been more than happy to let you know where to find them. - The owners confirmed that the size of the bed is a queen. - It is a common standard in the vacation rental industry to have a checkout time of 10:00 am to ensure the cleaners have plenty of time to clean, sanitize and prepare the home for the next guest's arrival, but we're sorry if this caught you off guard. Thanks for letting us know about your stay!

Great house and location for couple getaway

Loved the house and lake fishing was ok swimming was great set up more for a couples getaway than a fam /teen weekend . we wanted few more kid friendly amenities closer to house . but overall great time and place

Husband birthday getaway

I went out on my own and reserved the lake house in Eustace, TX without him knowing anything about it and he was overwhelmed with everything. The only thing he had to do for himself was fish. He enjoyed himself to the max.
