About this property
Beautiful 7BR Country Farmhouse with Yoga Studio
Named one of Canada's Top 10 Vacation Rentals by VRBO, as featured on CTV News, blogTO, Yahoo! and more.
Honestly, this place is just magic.
A beautiful 7-bedroom farmhouse on more than a dozen acres of land, complete with an old barn and wheat fields, and a private forest leading to hundreds of feet of secluded waterfront.
No seriously, it’s as unreal as it sounds. We love it here.
The authentic, country farmhouse has been perfectly renovated and restored, designed with tones of neutral woods and soft whites, and includes original pine floors, banisters, crown mouldings, and more. Incredibly calming and quiet vibes, you’ll relax and unwind right on arrival.
There are 7 bedrooms all to yourselves - kind of unheard of, in the County - ideal for big families or group friend getaways. The king-sized primary bedroom’s on the main floor, with two queen rooms upstairs, along with four rooms of twin beds. Plus, 3 bathrooms, all revamped and new.
Ample amounts of living space for everyone to spread out, with plenty of reading nooks and big comfy couches (complete with smart TVs). The dining room’s just off the open concept kitchen, and arguably the main attraction - a long, gorgeous, family-style table to seat the whole crew.
Spend time outside on the deck, have a BBQ, or a bonfire at night under the stars. And explore the acreage - vast, open farm fields, with old abandoned barns and outbuildings (but be safe!).
The end of the farmland leads to an escarpment overlooking Adolphus Reach - the body of water that connects the Bay of Quinte to Lake Ontario. Hike down through trails of tall trees and dense forest, about 150 steps or so… and brace yourselves for the inevitable climb back up ;).
Finally, you’ll find yourselves at a private lookout over the waterfront, with not another person in sight. Pack a picnic, swim, and spend the day strolling up and down the secluded shorelines.
Solitude is sort of an understatement.
Attention yoga professionals and enthusiasts, if you're interested in hosting a retreat or booking a private class, we have a freshly renovated 34' x 14' studio available for use upon request - it's BYOM (bring your own mat) and a $200 incremental cleaning fee will apply.
This unbelievable escape from city life is also just a short trip to the shops and boutiques of downtown Picton, an 8-minute drive to Waupoos, and about a half hour or so from Sandbanks.
We're also happy to share that a portion of rental proceeds will go to support Neeko's Animal Welfare Foundation :)
It's worth noting that our home is not a setting for large events, loud music, or disruptive parties. We expect guests to be respectful of our neighbours at all times, and in accordance with local by-laws keep outside noise to a minimum, and quiet hours after 11pm. Please treat both our home and our neighbourhood as you would your own.
A friendly head’s up, since this is a vacation rental and the house sometimes sits vacant, there are two exterior surveillance cameras at the front of the house that face the road, for security purposes only. They turn ON only when they detect motion.

Oh hi! We're Dan & Dan - proud homeowners in Prince Edward County, local small business operators, and husbands ...yes, with the same name :p
We've been hosting visitors in PEC for several years now, and have been lucky enough to connect with hundreds of amazing guests from across Canada and around the world. We love the County, and want to make sure everyone who visits has as great of a time here as we do.
We love to spend time at the beach, go for long walks with our pup, and travel around the world.
