The owner Karan and the caretaker Kayla were awesome, and the property was perfect. They were very accommodating to our dog staying with us as well. Just what we were looking for. We stayed at the 1820 Suite. Snug and historic, right in the middle of downtown. There was no TV in our room and that turned out to be great- we played games as a family in the evening after exploring town and checking out all the shops and museums. Nice little light unplug. (Tho there is WiFi if you need it.) It was so much fun! We will stay again.
Unique property with lots of charm right in the heart of the historical district. Fit our needs perfectly on our C&O bike trip ( You do have to carry your bike and panniers up the bridge stairs).
Unique property! Great amount of space! Loved that there was no television and plenty to read! Great location to all the historical sites!! Deer visited to graze on the hill right outside the porch. All of the instructions were clear and important to get the most enjoyment out of the stay.
This is definitely a unique place to stay. The location is incredible and it is really awesome to stay in such a historic building. Everyone was very friendly. Communication is great, but still a bit confusing when you arrive to figure out where to go. The overhead noise is definitely noticeable (walking, talking, phone ringing, etc. and the shop opens at 6 am). The shower situation is a bit of a challenge. We stayed only one night and agreed that a longer stay wouldn't work for us. But, we certainly enjoyed our night and the easy access to the beautiful shops and sights can't be beat.

Great location but pictures are deceptive.
The property was in a perfect location for exploring all of Harper’s Ferry and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The pictures of the room are exactly as it is, however they don’t tell the whole story. The bathroom for all intents and purposes is outside. We stayed there one night when the temperature was in the high 30s and the bathroom was frigid. There was a barn style door that I believe went to the outside. It was not weather proof or even locking(just a hook and eye). The room was also very cold and was heated with 5 electric space heaters. That was unsettling, especially since there as many fire extinguishers(which was good to see). The room was a bit more rustic than what I thought it would be and the beds were awful, but the experience of being in an old home in the center of HP made up for it. Don’t know that we would do it again, but I would recommend staying there. Just know that the 1820 Suite is a bit different than the pictures and the bed is not hotel quality. Had I known all this we still would have stayed, just wouldn’t have felt so let down.
Glenda was fantastically helpful with our stay at Town's Inn. The location was great and the ability to house 4 of us in separate beds in 1 room was perfect.
