The positive was that they accommodated for my pets to come. The cabin was okayIt might be better if they do some maintenance. The washer didn’t workThe hot tub workedThe grill worked The lights in the bedrooms didn’t work, but I called maintenance, because it takes some time for the host to respond. Maintenance came to fix the problem.

Little cabin in the woods
This little property is in a neighborhood with very close neighbors and a little drive from the water and the town. Not bad, a little small for a family of 4 though.
This was a quick getaway for myself and my husband. The area was beautiful. The cabin was clean and well stocked, with nice decore, comfy beds, clean hot tub, plenty of towels, blankets etc.
Fire pit close to the cabin was stocked with wood and firestarter. Grounds were clean and well kept.
The atmosphere of the area was perfect. Good walking area and close to the hiking trails and trout streams.
We loved our long weekend here and will definitely come back soon!
This property was in a quiet neighborhood and easily located near all of the restaurants, unfortunately it has a roach problem. We saw prior reviews complaining about this so we verified with the property manager prior to our arrival that it had been taken care of, we were assured it had been. On the first night as we were cooking dinner a roach came out of a top cabinet and they continued to appear from the dishwasher and around the kitchen for the duration of our 3 night stay.
We were issued a partial refund; however I was disappointed that the property manager’s response to our request for a full refund was that “we were in the woods and bugs should be expected”. Bugs yes, roaches NO!
Upon arriving at the cabin, we noticed the wrap around porch was all around dirty. The pillows had fallen tree leaves that hadn't been dusted off, the coffee pot still had the last vistors coffee in it. The appliances were very outdated. We decided to roll with it, as we couldn't receive a refund at this point.
There is a bowing in the floor by the dishwasher that feels like you'll fall through when you step on it.
Going to sleep the first night, the sheets were ill fitted and kept sliding off the bed.
We woke up to make breakfast to find a ROACH. (I saw 2 small ones during my visit).
Still we continued to stay, and decided to take a dip in the hot tub only to find an OVERWHELMING smell of dead fish. The water pressure for the shower is super low. There are no fans, and the AC didn't seem to want to lower past 76.
The fire pit was nice, but the chairs around it were broken and mismatched. Just not a nice and relaxing area.
The back porch is a view of another home.
We have rented cabins each year for Christmas break with our kids, this one has by far been the worst experience we've ever had.
I had zero contact with the property manager to ask about our stay.
Also, i was off put by the envelope that housekeeping left asking for a tip. Especially since the house wasn't cleaned properly.
Additionally. The back door still doesn't lock, and I'm sure the owners are aware, as it's written multiple times in the guest book/reviews on Vrbo.
I bashed my shin on the coffee table first thing in the door and we ended up moving it out of the way since Rock the amputee could not navigate around it. Everything was awesome, will come back again!
It was a nice little cabin, my only problems is that the back door wouldn’t lock and one of the nights the power shut off a couple times. Other than that we had a great time, it was a good location and comfortable beds.
Enjoyed this property. Our son especially liked the play structure. Only bummer was the hot tub wasn't working which we didn't discover until late on our second night so it was too late to call for service. Was looking forward to that so sad we didn't get to relax, but otherwise would stay again.
