Its no wonder why Port Willunga beach is one of the most adored southern beaches and one of the most photographed. Its soft sandy beach is overlooked by cliffs where fishermen once carved out caves to store their boats and nets, and the old Jetty pylons, also known as 'the sticks', are all that remain of this coastal village's early days as a grain port. The rotting timbers of the remains of the Star of Greece, a three-masted, iron cargo ship, which wrecked here in 1888 are also popular among divers. Between Port Willunga and Maslin Beach is a little cove known as Blanche Point. This 'high up' walk allows you breathtaking views right from the top of the cliffs that line the St Vincent Gulf waters. Starting from the sandy Star of Greece car park or Willunga Creek, navigate your way through the scrubby sands, past Lions Head point, and Chinaman Gully before reaching the extremely photogenic Blanche Point.

Lovely beachfront house with scenic sea views. Walking distance to beach and the Star of Greece restaurant. House was reasonably clean and well equipped but some cupboards were disorganised (left it better organised. The kitchen sink isn’t siliconed so water was seeping into below cupboard. Comfortable beds and quality/clean linen. Overall was a lovely spacious house and we enjoyed our stay.
House was lovely and clean and had everything you need ..
Could have used a full length mirror somewhere and bins in the bathrooms .. no bins anywhere except kitchen .. but comfortable and clean , nice modern bathrooms
Wonderful weekend that wasn’t the greatest weather but we didn’t care. The house had everything we needed and made for a fantastic weekend.

Port Willunga stay
We only had a few nights here, but the property is in a wonderful location - stunning views and close proximity to everything! We love, love, loved it!! Only negative would be that kitchen cupboards and organisation of was very poor - very hard to find things and no space for our pantry items - had to keep on bench. Also cleaning appeared to have been done quickly, not thoroughly and so we found ourselves having to clean some things before we used them. Other than that (property manager could fix those things easily enough) - house is great and location is perfect! Price expensive, and we were unable to cancel when our parents could no longer get through the state borders. Think that lack of flexibility is poor in Covid times.
