Country getaway
Accommodation was as advertised. We enjoyed cooking on the firepit. Unfortunately we could not use the television and there were no bedside lamps to read by at night-time, making the later evenings quite inconvenient. Communication with the owner left a bit to be desired. We were not given the address until the day before arrival despite a polite request and having paid a substantial deposit months earlier and the remaining in the week prior. This made it difficult to organise shopping, activities etc. It was also embarrassing to tell the rest of our party that we had no address for them to organise transport, particularly on a Friday afternoon. Communication with the owner was very terse, making us feel less than welcome.

Quaint cottage setting at the foot of Mt Beerwah. Quiet, family-friendly stay. Sue is a lovely host and made us feel welcome. We had a great time and would highly recommend this property.

Nice Little Getaway
We stayed over the October long weekend. As we had 2 young children with us it was the ideal location. The kids loved the animals and loved the fact they could run around everywhere. We will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful country escape
Very comfortable, clean and well equipped property - set in the beautiful Glass House Mountains. We enjoyed our surroundings, the farm animals and a stunning walk up Mt Ngungun. Sue was an extremely helpful hostess! Highly recommended!

Why they chose this property

This property is unique, it has so much to offer the traveler but best of all it not too far from anywhere but feels like you are in the middle of nowhere

What makes this property unique

Our property has a horse agistment , ginger plantation
many farm animals
and 2 houses, one for us and one for you with a shared pool.
We have some of the best views of Mt Beerwah in the area, all set on a tranquil 50 acre plot complete with walking trails. Please note we have a free-roaming very friendly farm dog, he is a staffy and he has access to the whole property to keep predators away from our animals, we DO NOT lock him up so please consider if this is OK for you before you book.
