Owners were very accommodating and left many extras in the place for your convenience such as an umbrella, coffee pods, tea, snacks, etc. The place was very clean.

We had a great stay at this property. It is a beautiful, isolated type property, but on a main road. Easy to get to. It was very comfortable and clean and we really enjoyed it.
We had everything we needed for our stay in Flat Rock down to a small fenced area for our dog and reliable internet to work remotely while we waited for our new home closing. Host was kind, place was beautiful and spacious, and made a hectic week quite pleasant. Thank you so much for being our temporary home!
My wife and I spent the weekend celebrating our 43rd wedfing anniversary and it was very peaceful. Great for couples. I would not recommend it for families with small children because there are so many tempting antique and curio collections within reach. It was great for us.

Disclosure of property description
The amenities state central ac and heating. It doesn't tell you that there is no thermostat in the unit. This is controlled by the owner who lives above. This is a basement with cement floors coverted to a rental property. It is very dank dark and musty. Not suitable if you have allergies or breathing problems. We rented for a month and left after one week.
I have used VRBO for nearly 20 years and this is the first time that I felt driven to leave the property. The accommodations were beautiful .... but I nearly froze to death. There were no temperature controls in the rental portion of the house, which was the basement. So when it became so cold I kept messaging the owner upstairs to please make it warmer. I received no response for a couple of days and decided I had to leave ... all because of the cold (and with a vent directly over the bed). I contacted Evolve, the management co. and told them I could no longer stay and to please refund my second week payment ... willing to forego what was left of the first week. They will not refund but contacted the owner on my behalf. The owner claims to never have received any messages from me (although my phone says the messages were received). She also says she cannot make it warmer for my area because then it is too hot for her and the 2 dogs. She will have her husband come when he gets back from work out of town and close the vents. He did come and closed off 3 of the vents. This helped considerably and I completed my stay... wearing a sweater and/or sitting outside for warmth. So the property itself was great but the temperature ruined everything
We really enjoyed our stay and found it very cozy and welcoming. The rental has all the comfort’s needed for a nice stay. The house was decorated for Christmas which was a nice treat. Most importantly our dog Annie was very comfortable too :) Thanks Tracy and Michael for a lovely stay!

Amazing Place
Just returned from a week at this awesome home. We absolutely love this place and will definitely return as soon as possible
The hosts have everything in the home set up for comfort and enjoyment. They are warm, friendly, and really wanted us to have a wonderful time there.
The home is decorated with many many antiques and several types of pottery and glassware.
The location is perfect - in Flat Rock/Hendersonville, close to Asheville and surrounding area of Lake Lure and Brevard.
Great Place!!

The property was very clean and it’s access to amazing waterfall hikes and nature was spot on. Downtown Hendersonville was special. I will return to this rental!
The renal was immaculate and smelled amazing. The owners are on property upstairs, but we never even heard them. The interactions we had in person were delightful!
We have stayed in several VRBO locations, but this is one we will definitely consider revisiting!
We were looking for a place to stay while visiting family in Hendersonville. The location of this place is great - only about 10 minutes from downtown Hendersonville or Flat Rock.
The property had a bit of a bed-and-breakfast feel. Very spacious, enough for our family of four, While a second bathroom would have been nice, there are two extra sinks that helped out quite a bit.
The property owner was very responsive.
We would definitely stay here again.
Enjoyed our stay in this house. It was very homey, cozy feeling. Sitting outside with the firepit. The stars were beautiful at night. Everything was cleaned. We would stay there again. We had perfect Fall weather.
