Perfect place

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are locals and wanted to show our friends how beautiful Crowdy is. We had a great time, we had kids of different ages and they loved the large lounge room and big deck. Bring a baby gate for the stairs. Rooms are large and sound proof. Large kitchen for big cook ups! Love it.

Crowdy Head

Tidy property, absolutely beautiful view. We love Crowdy Head. The property needs outdoor furniture & a thorough window clean throughout. Some lights aren’t working (bedroom) and there’s a broken timber fixture off the balcony which bangs in the wind. Broken red chairs in the dining area.

Thank you for your feedback, we have attended to these issues. These windows are cleaned periodically but unfortunately the location of the property makes this a never ending issue with the salt spray Team Mid Coast

Great location, filthy house

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is in a great spot but unfortunately was so dirty. The bathrooms were dirty and had to have a cleaner come back in to reclean them. The kitchen was disgusting- we kept finding plates, cups, bowls and cookware that was put away used. The kettle was full of ants. There was also no WiFi even though we asked the agent beforehand. Really disappointing.
Response from VrboOwner on 23 Apr 2024
Thank you for your feedback Alex, we understand you were un happy with the property due to the wifi, this is not advertise for that property. Also as for the cleaning, the cleaner took photos before she recleaned (as we asked for you to do though didn't) and after she cleaned the bathrooms. Other than a small amount of fluff the bathrooms were fine. You hadn't advised about the kitchen Regards Team Mid Coast

Nice ocean view

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Amazing ocean views, second time we have stayed here and really like the location but lack of general maintenance and up keep severely let’s this place down. Not one thing has been fixed since our stay last year from the many windows downstairs that are broken and don’t open to the lights free hanging out of the sockets in the kitchen as well as the roller door in the garage that had been broken for several months when I enquired to the agents about it and the same pile of mouldy cardboard boxes and rubbish under the bbq area and many more little things that need attention. We will definitely be staying here again as location and beautiful view overshadows its lack of maintenance. Hopefully this house will soon get the love and maintenance it needs to keep it in good condition for years to come.

Great location and house, needs work

We loved the house and location, the house has a great layout and has great potential but we were let down with a few basics. Seems as though it’s used by groups of fisherman, which is fine but everything very greasy upstairs and cabinetry was filthy. (We actually took all 72 serving platters out of the cabinets, wiped them down and reordered them) In general the cabinets are way over stocked and items just seem to be strewn everywhere because of this. 8 lounges in one room but none in the main living with the view of the water and where you want to sit when people are prepping food etc. Downstairs bedrooms were musky and the corner bedroom to the right of main bathroom was mouldy with mould growing on the frame of the bunks. We wiped down no issues but noticeable damp and mouldy room. No entertaining chairs outside or gas barbecue, downstairs barbecue is wood fired and covered with leaves, very nostalgic but not practical. Light bulbs in garage are blown We would absolutely stay here again, loved the place but just could be so much better.
