About this property

Tranquil Lakefront Retreat, Private Beach, Kayaks on 13 Wooded Acres

Escape to tranquility in our private cabin nestled on 13 wooded acres on Mirror Lake. Tucked away in nature, this peaceful hideaway features your own private beach on a quiet, 50-acre lake—perfect for swimming, fishing, and unwinding. With only nine homes around the lake, you’ll often feel like you have it all to yourself.

Enjoy bug-free relaxation in the spacious 14' x 18' three-season porch, or start your day with coffee and a sunrise on the wraparound deck. The crystal-clear water offers a designated 20' x 20' sandy-bottom swimming area, and a 6' x 18' floating water mat (Lilypad) and two 8 x 4 lilypads if you prefer to have one to yourself all of which adds to the fun for kids and adults alike.

Guests have access to a variety of watercraft including a paddleboard, paddleboat, canoe, three adult kayaks, and two child-size kayaks—ideal for exploring the calm waters. Fishing enthusiasts will love the exceptional catches of crappie, bass, and pike, making this a great lake for teaching kids how to fish. If you’re looking for a bigger adventure, Round Lake’s public boat launch is just one mile away.

Evenings are best spent around a campfire on the beach, listening to the sounds of the forest and watching the stars come out. The lake’s mix of sandy and soft-bottom areas is great for wading or simply floating the day away.

Our summer calendar fills quickly with repeat guests who book directly. However, openings do come up from time to time. To be notified when dates become available, feel free to inquire right here on VRBO.
