We really enjoyed our stay at the Cabin it was very cozy and warm.
The kitchen/great room is very spacious. The kitchen has all the cooking tools you need to make nice home cooked meals. The bedrooms and beds are very comfortable. The 2 bathrooms are nicely updated and were an important feature for us. We had our two dogs with us and they had lots of outdoor space to play. The views of the lake from the great room are beautiful.
We had Friday night fish fry at the resort restuarant, it was one of the best I've had anywhere.
There were six in our party the cabin was perfect for our group and our pups. I highly recommend it!
Great place to stay just outside of Hayward, the cabin was comfortable and a great size for the 4 of us. The beds were comfortable and there were portable fans in every room. Craig was a great host a made sure we had everything we needed.
We enjoyed the amenities of the cabin. It was well appointed, and very comfortable. The extra touches of decorations in each room and the abundant supply of kitchen. bedroom, and family room supplies were especially helpful and well thought out. We look forward to a return visit.

The cabin was super cozy and equipped perfectly for our week stay Memorial day week. Check-in was super easy and smooth besides being greeted by blood thirsty mosquitos. Tip, bring bug spray if you are coming during this time of the year. Also, it is best to get there early before dusk. The cabin is quite spacious with 3 bedrooms, big kitchen breakfast bar and table. The nice livingroom windows framed a perfect picture of the lake. The host provided their hulu subscription to watch TV and Wifi worked well. Pssst, don't make the mistake in telling the kids there is wifi like we did. The lodge was open Thursday-Sunday from 4pm to 8pm. The fish fry was amazing. All the amenities for cooking inside the cabin were there. There was also a weber grill, a fireplace with plenty of wood. We brought a fireplace grill to cook some burger over the camp fire. We did not find anything to make smores with but if that is your thing, bring some sticks or make your own to roast marshmallows. Weather was perfect and the lake provided some good fishing. We caught largemouth, small mouth, pike, perch, walleye, bluegills and crappies. Crappies and blue gills were right off the docks making it a perfect downtime activity for the kids. If your are coming with a boat, there is a power pedestal inside the marina dock area. Other than that, it is a 300 foot + power cord run to the dock and the Hosts does provide extension cords. For me, it was much easier to leave in the marina overnight charging
Went up for a snowmobile trip with friends and family. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of parking for our three trailers and all our sleds. Host was amazing. Communication was perfect made sure we had everything we needed and very accommodating. Will definitely return for future trips!
Convenient location to summer or winter activities. We stayed while visiting family in the area so basically on slept and at cabin. It was clean, well stocked and comfortable. Owner provided alot of helpful info ahead of time. Would definitely stay again.
Great location just out of Hayward on the trail eith easy access. If you are bringing large trailers, you need to coordinate with the owners, while there is ample parking, it's tight quarters to manuever
The cabin was perfect for a family getaway with warm and open space for hanging out, eating and relaxing. The beds were very comfortable and it's great to have 2 bathrooms for the kids and parents. The location was perfect for accessing trails for cross country skiing and snow shoeing. Next time we hope to rent snow mobiles too. The owner was super responsive and helpful when we needed our car battery jumped, too. Loved the view from the cabin, and the winter wonderland location was perfect for unplugging as a family.
We had a small family gathering. There were so many little touches that made our stay wonderful. The hosts were very welcoming and responsive. We highly recommend!
The Aspen cabin was perfect for our fall getaway. Cozy, spacious and great view of Lost Land Lake. The cabin was very cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. The welcome basket was a nice surprise as I was wanting to have s’mores while sitting around the fire. We experienced 3 seasons in the 10 days we were here. The snow is so pretty on the fall leaves. We will definitely be staying here again.
My Hubby and I loved our stay at Aspen cabin. Remodel was very well done making everything very comfortable: bed, sitting and eating area = all great! Kitchen was well stocked and the Welcome basket we received was much appreciated. Since ours was a (cool) Fall stay we did not get to use the fire pit or the kayak but it was good to know that they were available. Having the option to eat at Lost Land Lake Lodge right up the hill was also a plus (great fish fry). Information packet was helpful and Craig easy to contact if needed (we didn't but he checked in). We have already booked again for next year! Highly Recommend this Cabin!
This is an excellent place to stay! The hosts have done a great job with the attention to detail in this cabin. Its comfortable and has everything you need. We will definitely be back. Thanks!
An unexpected gift package with a note was in the kitchen as we entered making us feel extra welcome and at home. This place is where you want to be to enjoy the quiet lake beauty with a resort convenience
We LOVE staying in this cabin! It's just steps from the lake, clean comfortable and in a beautiful setting in the North woods.
