About this property

Whitehaven ~ Absolute Beachfront!

WHITE HAVEN is a beautiful 3 bedroom holiday home that accommodates up to 8 guests and is absolute beachfront.

Open plan kitchen with microwave and dishwasher, dining, lounge with wall mounted digital LCD TV, stacker doors that open on to a covered deck with gas BBQ, air-conditioned for your comfort. All 3 bedrooms have ceiling fans, main bedroom with ensuite and doors that open onto the decking. Main bathroom with vanity, shower, bath, separate w/c. Laundry with sink and front loading washing machine.

Bed configuration - bed 1 - king, bed 2 - queen, bed 3 - queen plus 2 x singles.

Pillows and quilts are provided, you will need to bring your own linen - pillow cases, top/bottom sheets, towel/bath mat and tea towels.

Point Turton has an excellent boat ramp and jetty for those keen fisherman!  There is also a general store where you can buy delicious pastries, take away foods, general grocery items, ice, bait and fuel. You can also enjoy a lovely meal at the Tavern On Turton.

No smoking inside

NO PETS - this includes visiting pets, any pets sighted at property will result in loss of bond

Bond may increase during peak season

Peak - beginning of Dec school holidays to end of Jan school holidays and Easter: 4 night minimum stay

Relaxing get away

Great Location and sea views. Was nice to watch the Pelicans swimming around. Loved waking in the morning to a sunrise over the water and the house was very comfortable and clean.

Absolutely gorgeous location with the house being very spacious. The only issue perhaps was with the on line info on what to bring. Quite a few items packed like tea towels, condiments, quilts, pillows etc were already there. Minor details really. Apart from that, we really had a lovely stay. Thank you!

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice place let down by Point Turton. Yes the water is out the front but there is no beach (unless you count the rocks and mud), so you're stuck with an asphalt path and some dry grass.If you just want to sit at home and do nothing or are happy to go and drive places to do things, then this is the ideal place for you.The place is starting to get a little tired with drawers misaligned, doors not working, plates chipped and cracked and the wind shelter blind inoperable - the owners put in the cheap stuff when a lot of renters don't treat things with the respect that they should and now it's starting to show.And you can ignore the property manager's email about there being no sponges, dishwashing liquid, paper towels, cooking oil, coffee, tea, salt, pepper, sugar, condiments and toilet paper etc - it's all supplied, so there's one less box to bring.

The location, the facilities, the presentation, everything about this holiday home was 1st class. We loved our short stay here. Even when the weather was inclement it was delightful just sitting on the balcony watching the sea. The only thing that could be added is some disability facilities. My 90yo mother would have appreciated hand rails in the bathroom. Other than that faultless.
