We were up visiting a friend who lived in the area and this townhome was in a good location. We were there a couple weeks after Leland snowplay had closed, so it was quiet.
This was a great property to stay at in Strawberry, CA. It was indeed walking distance to Leland Snowplay. There were many nice touch's that the host's left for us. The place was super clean and very well stocked and also a bonus was dog friendly. The hosts were super responsive to any questions we had before our trip and were very nice. It is definitely as the pictures show. If anyone is interested in a nice getaway whether for summer or winter, this is a great place to stay! Our family truly enjoyed it!
Such a cute little house. My boys loved sleeping in the loft! The fire place was perfect! They had games and movies and plenty of blankets, towels, etc The host was very easy to communicate with and accommodating. We hope to return!
The condo was perfect for our family Christmas, we loved the small details, such as a beautiful Christmas tree, games, and movies. It’s a great place to unplug and connect as there isn’t any cable, cell service or internet. My only suggestion is if you plan meals, bring serving bowls and prep knives- that’s the only bathing the cabin is missing. If you’re looking for tranquility and relaxation, a place to connect with family and friends- this is it!

We really enjoyed our stay, the cabin was clean and had almost everything we needed (minus Wi Fi) but the condo was just a short walk to Leland Meadows play area. It was so much fun for our family and our pups.
We enjoyed our stay at the Treetop Terrace Condo. It served the four of us very well and was a good starting point for some fishing trips. The place was clean and the kitchen well supplied.
Spent two nights here in August before a backpacking trip. Everything was great, as described, the lock was a little tricky to get in - turn the key clockwise and push the door closed or jiggle it while you turn the key. We did not have time to check out the little lake unfortunately. The loft room is sweet! No AC but ceiling fans and stand fans mad it comfortable. Kitchen could use some sharp knives.

Retreat
It was a great place to disconnect from everything. Will be going back.
Condo was very clean, good instructions, welcome sign inside with a bottle of wine was a nice touch! Host was very kind and prompt to respond to my questions before the stay. My only suggestion is the mattresses on the loft bed and the downstairs full bed were very uncomfortable and could probably stand to be replaced. The downstairs queen bed was fine

perfect get away spot
one of the best spots we have stayed in . Everything was perfect. House was clean , property was clean . The private lake was an amazing spot for kids, water was warm . The clubhouse was also a wonderful spot to go play some games with the family . My two doggies loved it. Only thing is there is no ac and gets pretty hot at night . But 10/10 overall.
Would have been perfect, except living, dining, kitchen areas small for our group of 4 adults plus kids. But we knew this from house description, so can’t complain. Heating options confusing. Owners very responsive and had plumbers up quickly when we had water heater problem. We had a great time.
My family and I stayed at this pinecrest retreat during our snow trip. It was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The stairs were interesting to navigate with a 2 year old toddler and two older grandparents, but it was doable. Heating consists of wall units and a fireplace. It was walking distance to Leland snowplay. No wifi was refreshing as it allowed us to unplug and spend quality time together. There were plenty of movies available for us to watch. The renters were very responsive and even helped us switch travel dates as there was a snow storm on our original travel dates. We are extremely grateful for their flexibility and hospitality. We created forever memories.
We traveled as a family with 3 children, ages 6 mos, a 3 1/2 year old and a 7 year old.
Pros: property was clean and well stocked, nice deck with gas grill, washer/dryer, a short walk to the beach/lake access, beautiful scenery, paddle boards and pedal boats at the lake front for anyone to use, close to Pinecrest
Cons: entire property is dated and could use updating, the screen doors were broken and kept falling off the track, downstairs window wouldn’t open properly, NO a/c (it was extremely hot at night and we had trouble sleeping, especially the baby), no fans other than a ceiling fan in the main living area and one in the loft. It would’ve been nice to have some portable fans in each room for extra air flow especially since there is no AC. The downstairs bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable. All of the bed pillows were pancake flat and should be replaced.
I wouldn’t recommend for families with a crawler or new walker. There isn’t a ton of space for them to roam and several hazards (stairs going up the loft and stairs going down to the other bedrooms), elevated fireplace surround.

Hi Alicia, we always appreciate hearing from our guests, but the homeowner would like to take a moment to clarify a few things raised in your review: “Dear Alicia, glad you enjoyed the beauty of the area, including using the paddle boards and pedal boats on our private lake steps away. We really value your feedback about the pillows and bedding, it’s the first we heard of it, but have just ordered replacements, thank you. We are coming up this weekend and will take a look at the screen door. Sounds like it was unseasonably warm the time you were there. AC is not a common amenity in most cabins in our area because it tends to not get uncomfortably hot, but with weather patterns changing your recommendation for fans is an excellent one that we will add. Thank you again for providing us with this helpful information.”
