'Old Spice' is owned by two families who have holidayed in the area for over 20 years, purchasing the house together in late 2018. We’ve named the house to reflect the early 80s vibe of the house, which, as you will see, we have leaned into a little.
'Old Spice' is a four bedroom, two-bathroom freestanding house about 100 metres from the water. It was substantially renovated over 2019 and 2020 to add new front and rear decks, a new bathroom and extra bedroom.

About Currarong
The reason you are visiting Currarong is to be in a beautiful and relaxed coastal environment.
Currarong is a small coastal fishing and tourist village at the northern tip of the dramatic Beecroft Peninsula and adjacent to Jervis Bay. The village is a haven for holidaymakers keen on relaxing, swimming, fishing and walking.
Currarong is one of the few places in NSW where you can sit on a North West facing beach looking at mountains across the water, and watch the sun set over the ocean.
Rock shelves, caves, and middens tell us that the Beecroft Peninsula and Currarong have been inhabited by First Nations communities from 4000 (and perhaps up to 7000) years ago. The area is very important to the Jerrinja and Wreck Bay communities and is set on traditional Yuin country.
Beaches
Currarong is surrounded by 14 beautiful beaches, most notably Warrain Beach and the sheltered Abrahams Bosom beach. Currarong is also famous for its rock pool, and for the many protected beaches a few minutes’ drive away on the other side of the headland in Jervis Bay, including Long Beach, Cabbage Tree Beach and the horse-shoe shaped Honeymoon Bay.
Bush Walking
Currarong is famous for its bushwalks and there are great walks accessible on the Beecroft Headland (accessible via the little wooden bridge near Abrahams Bosom beach) and in the Jervis Bay National Park about 3 kms from the house (entry via the road into Currarong).
Fishing and diving
Currarong has world class fishing - rock, beach and ocean. In 2011 a new boat ramp was completed that allows for launching two boats at a time. The area is also renowned for its scuba diving and snorkelling.
Currarong is also close to the Beecroft Weapons Range. The range provides access to some spectacular sights, including Honeymoon Bay and the Point Perpendicular Lighthouse, among other sites.
