Welcome to Indian Cove, a beautiful and secluded cabin tucked away in the woods. Indian Cove offers 3 bedrooms that can accommodate up to 8 guests, 3 full bathrooms, pool table, NEW hot tub summer of 2024, gas fireplace (seasonal), outdoor fireplace, WIFI, AC, washer & dryer and pet friendly with management approval (some restrictions apply, see below).

If you’re looking for solitude and privacy – look no further. Indian Cove is the last house at the end of the country graveled road. You will love our modern and well appointed log cabin, conveniently located between Boone and West Jefferson, on a well secluded tract surrounded by Mother Nature. It provides multi-level living and plenty of amenities to please the whole family.

Check-in is after 4:00 PM and check-out is before 11:00 AM.

At Indian Cove, we believe that nobody should be left behind. We will allow you to bring your four-legged family member, under 50 pounds each, with a onetime nonrefundable pet fee of $100 plus tax per dog (2 dog maximum, no cats).

Main Floor: The main level offers floor to ceiling stone fireplace with gas logs (seasonal), vaulted ceiling, Bose Wave Radio with iPhone adapter and 50" Flat screen TV with Direct TV Satellite and Blue Ray/DVD. Comfortable seating with a leather couch and recliner.

You’ll also find the dining table, eating bar and full kitchen that is well equipped for the chef of your family including a regular coffee maker with a built in K-cup, dishwasher, fridge, new electric range with Air Fryer feature, and crock pot. You'll love the natural light and mountain ambiance from 2 sets of French doors and many windows. Bedroom with queen bed and full bathroom in the hall is also on main level.

Upper Level: The top floor offers master suite with reading chair and 29" Flat screen TV/Satellite and King bed. The En Suite master bath offers a jetted tub and separate shower.

Lower Level: You will enjoy hours of fun on the lower level. Featuring a spacious game room with added seating of a couch and rocker, pool table, card/game table, 51" Satellite TV/DVD, books and games.

The third bedroom offers bunk beds (twin/twin) and a full size bed, as well as a full bath and laundry room are also on the lower level. French doors on the lower level lead to a deck with covered seating area and a new 5-6 person hot tub that was installed early July 2024.

Outside: The custom log cabin's main level outdoor living area includes covered deck with swing, rockers, 2 restored park benches, and a patio set. A custom-built outdoor fireplace makes it easy to roast S’mores. On the outside porch there is seating for 6-8 to gather and eat together. For added fun, play corn hole on the paved driveway. Other features include USB charger adapters in each bedroom, charcoal grill, iron, ironing board and all linens are provided.

Indian Cove is the perfect way to spend quality time with the family. For the outdoor lovers, enjoy the nearby state parks, canoeing such as Riverside Canoe Rentals or Zaloos Canoes, or hiking at one of the many trials in Ashe County. If you like horseback riding, Burnt Hill Stables is a short drive away and a great place for family memories. You can visit our local chamber of commerce, Ashe County Chamber of Commerce, for more information of things to and places to eat in our area! For the winter activities, Appalachian Ski Mountain, is approximately 45 minutes away; Sugar Mountain Resort is approximately 60 minutes from our cabin; Beech Mountain Ski Resort is a bit further away with an hour and 15 minute drive. Summer attractions like Tweetsie Railroad is about 35-40 minutes and Blowing Rock is around 45 minutes away. The majority of area attractions are within an hour drive from our cabin. West Jefferson is a short 15 minute drive to local restaurants, shopping and grocery stores.

As you plan your trip to the mountains, please remember we do get rain, snow and some foggy days and occasional inconveniences which are out of our control. Winter weather in the Blue Ridge Mountains can occur from November through April. The majority of our homes are accessed by mountain roads, which will be icy in winter weather. For the safety of you and your party, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This means 4-wheel drive, good tires, and chains. It is your responsibility to be prepared for hazardous road conditions. There will be NO refunds, allowances, or date changes resulting from your negligence in this matter.
