appliances & furnishings. It's central location and close proximity to I-85 makes it perfect for vacationers & business travelers alike. Just 10 minutes to Center City and 5 minutes to the NoDa Arts District. Plus the house is adjacent to the 73 acre Sugaw Creek Park!

- Absolutely NO parties or events allowed at our home. There is a $1000 fee for not abiding by this rule.
- We live a few houses down so we are available, if needed!

Overall a Nice Place to Stay

The house itself was nice. Large rooms and clean. The neighborhood is not the best. Would not have chosen this place if I new anything about the neighborhood first. My suggestion is do your research about the neighborhood before booking. Also the bed in the lower level master bdrm is very unconfortable. Flimsy & lumpy matress and no box spring. Overall a decent stay but would not book again do to location.

Overall Good

This property was very good overall. The bedrooms were spacious, the amenities were new, and it looked identical to the pictures online. The 2 master suites are a definite plus! The neighborhood was decent, but the best thing about it was the close location to the interstate. The only think keeping me from rating this property a 5 was the cleanliness. At first glance, everything appears clean, but once you take a closer look at baseboards, light fixtures and shower crevices, you can tell this place has not been deep cleaned in a while. There was also hair on/in our bedding and in the shower - which is a pet peeve of mine. We took heed to a previous review that suggested we bring our own towels, and I’m glad we did. The towels at the rental can best be described as “crunchy”. Would I stay again? Yep. I would just bring more cleaning supplies to do some touch-ups.

My stay at Sugar Creek

I really enjoyed my stay at Sugar Creek in Charlotte, N.C. However, some pots in the kitchen could have been cleaned better and there were smudges on various walls throughout the house. My biggest complaint is the mattress in the downstairs bedroom. The mattress was lumpy and very uncomfortable. Other than the above mentioned, I’d recommend this property to others.

Plenty of Space!

Comfortable and overall clean house. Listing and pictures are accurate. Body wash, shampoo, laundry detergent, and a bottle of wine were all complimentary. Beds were comfy. Park across the street was great and has a playground. Also close to I-85. Downsides were: towels were raggedy and appeared very used (discolored, not soft, and some had holes in them); couldn’t get dishwasher to work so instructions would have been helpful; and lastly, One of our vehicles also got broken into on our first night. There appears to be some security cameras on the street lamp posts but when I reached out to the host about it, she did not respond or acknowledge my message. I highly encourage folks to bring any valuables inside and to remember to lock your doors!

Woosa trip

I can put to visit family and the place was amazing. We were able to get everyone room and entertained and not have a worry. The hostess is amazing as well. She communicated when I had questions and super nice. Location for me was perfect. Walking distance to the dollar store in the event I had to get lotion or quick snacks. Downtown isn’t to far either. I am very happy with my stay! Thanks Cindy!!
