New Flooring and Freshly Painted in January 2022. Stay beachside and enjoy many benefits of an oceanfront complex without paying oceanfront prices. Guests staying in Ocean One 124 enjoy a landscape view and won't cross a street to reach the Atlantic Ocean and its white sandy beaches. This condo has been upgraded and the charming decor will make you feel right a home. It has a King in the Master, Two Doubles in BR2, 1 Double and 1 Twin in BR3 plus a sofa bed in the living room.
After hours in the surf, vacationers rinse under the outdoor shower located on the complex's private beach walkway and then dip into the oceanfront swimming pool. Ocean One is a five story elevator building located in South Forest Beach. Ocean One has added a brand new grilling area to the complex just beyond the pool.
Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Ocean One is one block from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages.

The location of the unit could not have been better. The complex was right on the beach. The view from our unit, however, was of the parking lot, not the beach. Since the front window of the unit faced the parking lot, it would have been very nice if the curtains in the master bedroom offered more privacy than a pair of flimsy sheers. The bathroom floor was disgusting with a wide layer of thick black grime all around the edges of the room.The kitchen was the least well-equipped of any of the many units I have rented in Hilton Head over the years. The dishes were a mishmash of sets, and there really wasn’t the needed things if one wanted to eat in and feed a family of 6. I would suggest another trip to Goodwill which, I believe, was the decorating service that was used for this unit.

That said, a few of your comments don’t reflect the standard we maintain. The homeowners take a great deal of pride in their condo, and it is thoughtfully furnished and equipped with guest comfort in mind. We do not appreciate the suggestion that the unit was put together without care. Regarding the view, the listing accurately reflects the unit’s position within the complex, and we encourage guests to review those details when selecting a property that best fits their preferences. Cleanliness is extremely important to us, and the concern you raised about the bathroom floor is not consistent with our expectations. We will be addressing this with our cleaning team to ensure everything is up to standard. As for the kitchen, it is stocked for typical vacation use, though we understand needs can vary depending on the size of the group and how much cooking is planned. We’ll take your feedback into consideration as we continue to evaluate and update the inventory. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.

Ocean One as a facility and location is exceptional. We enjoyed the spaciousness of this condo with 3 bedrooms and 3 (although quite small) bathrooms. The floor was dirty when we arrived like it had not been mopped or thoroughly cleaned. Our feet were filthy before we ever left the condo. The dishes and silverware were also dirty. That could be due to the dishwasher detergent container not closing, but I think the dishwasher just doesn't do a good job. The kitchen was also bare bones in terms of available utensils and cups and pans. There was also no shampoo or conditioner included, which has been included in every other VRBO rental we have had. We would stay again at Ocean One, but probably not at this unit unless it had some improvements. One other suggestion is to have black out curtains in the master bedroom and the front bedroom with 2 double beds. The lights at night were VERY bright. Especially being on the first floor, it would be nice to have more privacy.

Nice place but needs a deep clean

The place is in a great location-- although If you want beachfront I would pay a little more-- would be better. The condo wasn't the cleanest -- the floors were pretty dirty-- we arrived around 4pm and they didn't get finished cleaning until around 430-5, but they allowed us a late checkout so that was good. I would replace a couple comforters they are dingy and a ripped curtain, but all and all it was a good stay. Easy check in, good location and communication was good.
