Peter and Julie moved to Wangaratta in early 2020. They had visited friends & family in the area for years & had gradually fallen in love with the laid back, food, wine, art and music culture of this rural city. The mild climate, proximity to so many small towns, historic and natural treasures was inviting. Plus Peter is a keen road cyclist & Wangaratta is heaven for cyclists. Peter and Julie both love gardening, roses, herbs & vegetables and have brought the gardens at La Maison Rose (a pretty blue Californian Bungalow) back to life and health. They are very proud that their 'potager' style rear garden (your garden if you stay) that has produced more than 20kg of tomatoes in the 20/21 summer. Peter and Julie love living in Wangaratta and want to share some of the town's and region's pleasures with you. As travelers, they also understand the importance of privacy and so will give you the opportunity to enjoy your guest suite and garden without the need to connect for breakfast or entry. If you need support, help or advice they are more than happy to assist however. The guest suite adjoins the main house but is separated by a locked and soundproofed hallway. You access your domain through your own entrance from the quaintly named 'carriageway'. Julie and Peter have two small dogs Coco C and Louis V (seeing a theme here?).The pets and their familiars will use the front garden and front of house during your stay!
