The location of the cottage is excellent, it was quiet and peaceful. The cottage needs a lot of love and the cleanliness was average. The fact that you need to bring your sheets, towels and take the garbage with you when you leave is extremely inconvenient. The furniture is very old and uncomfortable.
Me, my wife and our 2 year old son stayed at the cottage for 3 days. It’s a nice cottage on the water. We loved that it’s only 1 hour from Toronto and super close to Lindsay or Port Perry. House had absolutely everything in abundance. We didn’t even use the two extra rooms the cottage has. We will come back again.

We stayed 2 nights and we liked the location, the water views and quietness, which are all the highlight of the stay. However, the property was not wheelchair accessible as advertised . Overall the state of the house, the furniture and kitchen supplies like cutlery and dishes was tired, old and not the greatest. The driveway was rather narrow with vegetation hanging into it due to overgrowth. The decking around the house and at the water is not safe as boards are cracked and loose and there are gaps which both are trip hazards. Much love is needed to bring everything up to an average standard. We dealt with our own garbage and brought towels and bed sheets, supplies which was a first for us. We found for the pricepoint it was dissapointing and very inconvenient to have to deal with this. The water wasnt really swimable as there was a lot of seaweed even further out. The kayak was great though. This property could be a gem and compared to other places we stayed at not to recommend as much as we loved the waterview.
