We absolutely loved the Lazy Dog Lodge! Our family of eight (six adults, two 11 year old boys), were very comfortable. The amenities were great, especially the kitchen! We did a lot of preparing, and cooking, and it was stocked with everything needed. The lodge was beautifully decorated for Christmas! Another thing we loved was, although it was very close to town, the lodge was secluded just enough to enjoy privacy. We hope to go back again as soon as we can!

Great way to get away with pool team. Our team won a cabin trip through our league and lazy dog lodge was the perfect experience. Spacious cabin and all the amenities were perfect. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Nice place to stay

We enjoyed our stay at Lazy Dog Lodge. It's close to all of the attractions in Hochatown, but we spent most of our time on the beautiful, covered deck enjoying football games on the TV. The hosts responded quickly to a couple of minor questions. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Couples retreat

We stayed at this cabin for a couples getaway . The cabin was amazing and the host was outstanding. We were originally supposed to arrive back in December but had to reschedule at the last minute due to a death in the family. The host was so amazing allowing us to change the date at the last minute. I highly recommend this cabin! We had everything we needed, just like home. Just beautiful and fit the needs of the 4 couples for the entire weekend.

Property issues and sewer smell

Beautiful cabin but once we got there, the AC was not cooling. The owners were nice and immediately attempted to get the issue resolved. Around 10:00 that evening, AC was fixed. The next day, woke up to a bad sewer smell, so couldn’t sit outside. The smell would come and go throughout the day. Then while making dinner that night, there was a leak from the upstairs bathroom, that leaked down on the kitchen. Overall, stay was good and the owners were nice.

Thank you for the review, Michael. We had the plumber out to fix the water leak that was coming from a broken shower sprayer. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, the water damage could have been bad if caught later. I also contacted all our direct neighbors asking them to check on their septic systems. The cabin behind us had an issue and the smell is now gone. So sorry for this inconvenience. I would have called them instantly if we had known about it during your stay. Hopefully, your next visit will be more pleasant for you and your family.

Lazy Weekend Perfection

We’ve been to Broken Bow a few times and added a few more friends this go around. We loved the proximity to all things Hochatown at the Lazy Dog Lodge and the layout was perfect for our group of 6! Plenty of ways to spend the hazy, rainy weekend and the lodge provided a warm and inviting respite that we are already missing. Would absolutely book here again :)

Exactly what we were looking for!

We needed peace and quiet. We lead busy lives and are always on the go. The Lazy Dog Lodge was clean, private, and spacious enough for us to be able to unwind and enjoy each other's company. The property is beautiful and has everything one would need. It's four large bedrooms and four large bathrooms. Very private. The common areas are great for socializing. The deck would be great in fall or spring as it's very private.

My family and I have been to broken bow plenty of times but this cabin has exceeded our expectations! The cabin itself was beautiful on the outside as well as the inside. A lot of the things that you wouldn’t necessarily think to pack was already full stocked and very clean and tidy. The owners were very informative of places they recommended around the area and efficient. Would definitely come back again with the family and recommend for others to enjoy as well!!

FUN Times In Broken Bow

Upon our return to the DFW area it really struck us what a fun, Fun, FUN week we had at the Lazy Dog Lodge. We spent most of our time outside on the great deck and inside in the wide open kitchen/living room area. LDL is conducive to meal-making, adult beverages and plenty of story-telling! Our group is already making plans for a Sept/Oct weekend of college and NFL football game watching!

Family Vacation

My family of 9 adults stayed here for a recent 4 day getaway. The clean, spacious and modern house exceeded our expectations. The fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill were a nice touch since we prepared all meals on premise. Most of our time was spent on the large patio, downstairs, or upstairs around the pool table. Although there are homes near by, the large trees give you a secluded feel. The owners reached out to us prior to arrival in case we needed to contact them; however, there was no need as everything went exceedingly well.

Amazing home for the whole family!

Amazing new home, huge main living space w floor to ceiling windows, excellent kitchen and outdoor deck (covered with large table, TV, hot tub, grill, corn-hole). 4 bedrooms, each with own bathroom, pool table upstairs and fun bonus space above that too for the kids and kids at heart. Everything was wonderful here in this brand-new home. Would come back here in a heartbeat.
