The Space:
Holidaying by the beach has so many advantages... Long days on the beach, surfing, relaxing back at the beach house after too much sun, and finishing the day off with a BBQ is what it’s all about. All this
is possible when you stay at Caralee Beach Shack, only a short walk to pristine beaches, with endless walks in either direction.

Open plan living and a full-length front veranda are oriented to maximise the aspect over a quiet residential court. Sit and enjoy the outlook and birdsong in a very peaceful setting. The fully fenced and secure backyard offers a private haven for the kids to run around, with a paved patio area, Weber BBQ and outdoor furniture.

Freshly painted and renovated, it has the authentic appeal of a beach shack, updated with new carpet in the living area and bedrooms and comfortable furniture for guests’ comfort.

The updated kitchen and meals area have a new tiled floor, with a dining table for 6. Breakfast cereal, tea and coffee are provided for you to enjoy on your first morning. Appliances include an electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. A split system heating/cooling unit in the living room provides comfort, with comfy couches, a TV and wifi.

The home comprises 3 lovely bedrooms; two with Queen beds and one with bunk beds to suit families. All rooms are beautifully appointed with luxury hotel quality sheets and bath towels, making your stay as pleasurable as possible. A central bathroom has dual access from the master bedroom, offering a shower, bath and vanity. The separate toilet is adjacent to the laundry (washing machine provided).

Beaches - Our beautiful local beaches are just 1km away. Ocean Grove Main Beach offers family friendly swimming, surfing, and walking and is patrolled in summer months.
13th Beach offers long beach walks and waves for advanced surfers.

Barwon River caters to fishing, swimming, SUPing, kayaking, and walking the shoreline.
The house is situated a 500m walk from The Terrace shopping precinct, with plenty of cafes and restaurants locally, with many more restaurants, wineries, breweries around the region.

Adventure Park is a great day out with the kids - just 10 mins drive away.

Getting Around:
Our beach house is only 1km to an unpatrolled Surf Beach, and easy walking/riding distance to parks and shops.
On and off-street parking available.
Buses to and from Ocean Grove/ Barwon Heads / Geelong. 
Closest train station 30km away (Marshall station) for V/Line train Geelong- Melbourne. 
Ocean Grove is 1 hour 20 mins by car from Melbourne.
