Our home is located in a beautiful, quiet residential neighborhood, next to the park with walking trails. Some of the trails are overlooking Grand River. There are lots of local attractions that you may like to explore while you’re here, most of them are only 5 -10 minutes away. A short drive (less than 5 minutes) will take you to the Chicopee Ski Resort and Tube Park with summer activities, Bingaman’s and Fairview Park Mall where there are lots of shops, restaurants and the Rapid Transit Hub. We are next to Grand River, a perfect place for hiking, biking, fishing and canoeing. At the same time, we are just minutes from the HWY 8 and 401, a very convenient location for any of your traveling plans. Our home is beautifully decorated with comfy couch covered with the ship skin in front of the fireplace, home theater, elegant and functional Kitchen with dishwasher, large private patio with summer furniture and beautiful flowering planers. This are just a few things that that will make your stay simply wonderful.
HOUSE RULES As a host, we aim to make your stay as comfortable as it can possibly be! Our mission is to help our guests create beautiful family memories in our beautiful home. For us to do so, we would truly appreciate it if you would follow these house rules and confirm that is has been reviewed WITHIN 48 HOURS OF YOUR BOOKING. This is to ensure that if there is any reason the House Rules cannot be followed, you, our guest, will have the option of cancelling the booking penalty free as we have a Strict Cancellation policy. 1) No shoes within the house. There is the bamboo flooring in the unit that will be damaged if any water on the surface is not clean immediately. 2) Keep noise to a minimum after 11 pm. 3) There shall be no smoking inside the home. Extra cleaning fees to remove odor and stains may be applied. 4) PLEASE WASH YOUR DISHES after use. If dishes are not washed, extra cleaning fees may be applied. 5) PARKING: one parking spot is provided on the left side of the driveway. Our driveway is suitable for sedans or smaller SUVs. If you have a larger/longer cars or if more than one car, parking on the street is allowed with exception of the winter. 6) Please acknowledge that some consumables such as condiments or snacks will be left behind by previous guests if they are not empty. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. HOWEVER, ultimately, it is up to the guests' discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables. 7) Please do not rearrange our furniture. 8) We are perfectly happy having people pop by to pick you up, but you may not use the Unit to entertain them. We'd be happy to help you find other places to spend time with your family and friends. Also, we will consider to make exception. All overnight guests must be approved in advance through the booking process and are subject to an additional fee as noted in the price. This must be done no later than 24 hours prior to check-in and paid for at that time. Failure to do this is a violation of our House Rules; there is no entry refund if you violate the rules. If you would like to host an event (i.e. wedding, graduation) please speak with us about it first. 9) If guests are found to have had a party without the hosts permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of the disruptions alerting neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY. 10) If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY. 11) Lastly, because this is an Airbnb community not a hotel, and it is also my home please be respectful of the property and keep it clean before you leave. Krystyna was very easy to communicate with and checking in was very easy. The property was very clean and has lots of amenities. Also, it is very comfortable and cozy. It is in a great location in a very nice neighborhood. We most definitely stay here again.

This apartment is exactly as pictured, located in an established safe neighborhood, with easy access to both city and highway routes in the KW area. Walking trails are a bonus. Stayed here for the weekend with my step-sister. The place was perfect. Well stocked kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed sitting and talking on the patio. Lovely spot. Highly recommend

Everything went well and was easy to manage. I was a little confused that the ad mentioned a hot tub but there wasn’t one….other than that, it was very nice. The rooms were far enough away that when my mom was snoring we could still sleep! LOL.
This was the ideal place to stay in Kitchener. We were visiting family in the area. This worked out well to have our own space without imposing on anyone. Krystyna was an excellent host. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Well equipped kitchen. Best of all it was nice to sit out on the patio and have coffee and listen to the birds. Very private neighborhood close to walking trails, shopping and easy access to main highways. We hope to come back next time we are in the area.
The VRBO is lovely and clean. The host was responsive when there was a problem. The washer and dryer were an added bonus.
However, the bed was horrible, and the pillows were so bad that my husband and I had to buy new ones for our stay. You can also hear the hosts in the middle of the night.
The manual was extensive if not a little off putting. .

Thank you for your revue. We always like to hear from our guests. I am glad that you found the place lovely, clean and that you liked to have a washer and dryer in the unit. We have a tenant in the upper unit and we never had a complaint about their behavior. That was most probably an isolated incident. If you had sent me a message about the noise I could have reacted, however I did not hear about that from you.
Regarding the bed, there is a new mattress and new pillows. We do our best to make the place very comfortable. However, each person has a different preference. I am sorry that you found the pillows uncomfortable. You only needed to send me a message in response to my message " if we can do anything to make your stay more enjoyable, please let me know" and I would replace them in no time. But since you let me know, I added additional pillows.
We are looking forward to be your host in the future.
Cute walk out apartment in a nice neighborhood. Plenty of space for the three of us while we were in town for a hockey tournament. The basket with snacks was appreciated. Our only issue was on arrival. We were accidentally given the wrong code for the lock box. We arrived at night and in the rain so trying to figure that out in the dark was challenging until we decided to call Krystyna. She immediately answered and gave us the correct code. After that, it was smooth sailing. Would recommend.
Should have read previous reviews and thus learned that the upper floor is occupied and that contrary to the listing there is no hot tub. While there is a fireplace it was rendered inoperable. There is no direct control over the heating or cooling of this basement suite as the temperature is controlled by those on the upper level. There is an outdoor BBQ grille however the grates are too corroded and dirty to be used by most persons. Convenient location, clean and inexpensive.

Upon further examination of the listing, VRBO mistakenly added the hot tub as an amenity. Unfortunately, this location has never had a hot tub and the correction has since been made.
The fireplace has a pilot light that is switched off in the summer months because it generates heat. It can be switched on upon request. With the soaring temperatures this season, some days in the high 30’s with the humidity we do not want to add additional heat to the unit when we are trying our best to keep it cool for all guests.
It is explained in the description that temperature is controlled by the thermostat on the upper level. However we have a thermometer downstairs to ensure that the temperature is always at a comfortable level. At the lower level, the temperature is always a few degrees lower than the main house.
The BBQ is now sparkling clean. It was overlooked by the cleaning lady. My apologies. I will add this to the checklist to make sure it is not overlooked in the future.
Die Unterkunft entspricht den Bilder. Check in und out sehr einfach, die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und liegt in einer sehr ruhigen,sicheren Gegend . Man kann sehr schöne spazieren gehen zum Fluss. Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden und Krystyna eine tolle Gastgeberin. Wir kommen gerne wieder. !!

We arrived from Scotland to visit our son and grandsons in Kitchener and needed somewhere nearby. The apartment was excellent and just what we needed. We are very likely to use it again next summer.
