Dock Life Cottage 2 - Riverside, 1 Bedroom, Wasaga

*Note - Please bring your favourite bedding and towels.
Come stay at a piece of historic Wasaga, built in the 1920's as The Lashbrooks, a semi-famous fishing retreat regularly attracting guests from all over North America. Simple one bedroom cottage, queen bed, with air-conditioning, kitchenette, Wi-Fi, cable TV/streaming and flat screen, individual BBQ, communal fire pit and free parking (one car per cottage) on site. Docks and deck right on the water for peace, relaxation and a few cold ones. Communal campfire to make friends at.
Great for families, as well as younger or older groups
An easy four minute walk to Wasaga beach #3.

There is a $35 pet fee per pet (1 only please). If you haven't already paid it online, please present it at check in.

Great location, and terrific family vibe at this cottage complex. Stayed in Wasaga for some cycling 🚴‍♀️.. Nice bicyle paths and beach steps from property.

This was a rustic cottage but we knew that before arriving. The owner was very friendly, and location was convenient for many things near by. Cottage had a musty smell but other than that it was clean and we enjoyed our stay .

Not realized kitchen really small, ha but others are okay.But wish put what rule paper back of door because wears not sure here to put key for check out. We put key on kitchen table, unlock door when we left but lucky the guys and ladies who cleaning foe cabin we told the guy where the key. He say suppose put it in bbq. Duh but he say its fine. Hope not issue with it.Wifi good. Tv frozen often when watch.We dont use bus. Walked to beach and drove around with our car. There onky 1 mug, should be 2 bec we both drink coffee tea. Overall arw good. Nice deck to view the river

Great place

Tal was there earlier and turned on the heater for us so the cabin was toasty when we arrived, off to a great start! They provide all the little things you might forget at home. The river and dock is less than a minute walk away, and it’s a 5 minute walk to wasaga beach. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, we will definitely return !

I liked how close it was to the beach and the river. What we didn’t like is the fact that the cabin was sprayed by a skunk the night before and we weren’t told till we said we could barely breath. We struggled sleeping the first night. Now we understand this can happen but pretending it didn’t wasn’t helpful and we ended up needing to research what to do. We ended up boiling litres of vinegar which eventually worked. Would have been better if they researched this and bought the vinegar and did that themselves.

1difficult with directions as they own more than 1 property we were lead to wrong place to start. 2-cottage was not that clean 3- I would have expected deck chairs to be cleaned and orderly in the mornings (only done once after a rain). As fire pit4was outside our cabin we woke up to a line up of beer cans on ground and tables. This shoul6be responsibility of owners to stay on top of Many catterpilars, that time of year I guess, but in the morning unable to sit on chairs on deck as were not cleaned, caterpillars poop. Lots of it. Location was fine, but would not return, would look for something more expensive I guess. This was in our budget but I think next time we'll have to stretch that quite a bit to get a nicer facility

Peaceful mini vacation

Tal and is wife Tiffany were great hosts! Very clean, quiet little cabins right on the river, beach is in walking distance. It was perfect, I’ll definitely be back this summer! Thank your for your hospitality Tal!
