The Space:
Entering this home, you’ll find a cozy living area that is well appointed, and an open style kitchen/dining area through a large serving window. To the left, a small hallway with a full bathroom leads to the master bedroom, which offers a Queen bed, TV, full en suite bathroom, and a private entrance/exit. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms; one with two twin beds, and the other with a Queen bed. Central A/C on the first floor will keep things cool when the weather is certified “beach day” weather. Also, a big bonus for the occasional rainy day, or, just a fun night inside, there is a full-size ping pong table in the basement.
Outside, you’ll be greeted by a spacious green yard, complete with a deck for sitting, and an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a long beach day. Take a short walk over to Pizza Shark in the old Pleasant Lake General Store for a quick bite, or some ice cream, and get a bit of nostalgia to boot. If you’re looking for more to do, Harwich Port is a short drive away, and offers shopping, restaurants, and amazing white sand beaches along the Nantucket sound. If you’re seeking a bit of shade, duck into Hawksnest or Punkhorn Parklands for an adventurous nature walk; there is always plenty to do in this centrally located home.

It is walking distance to 3 of Harwich's nicest ponds!

This home is close to the Rail trail and a fresh water pond. It’s also close to route 6 so easy to get to different places on the Cape. The inside of the house was spotless and the owner provided a lot of underrated but appreciated amenities like board games, coffee and access to Netflix etc. The house has a nice yard with fire pit and two tables. We would definitely stay here again!
Nice property but there were ants in the house - tossing that up to the time of year. Flower beds/yard were unkept, overgrown with weeds despite have nice perennials.
Lights were complicated and many did not work in the house.

Ants are common this time of year on the Cape but we do treat for them at our homes and will see what more we can do! We are also looking into the lights. We would love to host you again and if we can do anything to make you feel more comfortable on your next trip please don't hesitate to ask we are local and want happy guests!
Very nice cape. Well decorated and super close to the rail/trail so bring bikes. Long Pond is a short walk away where there seems to be a beach that could be used for swimming.
Nice covered outdoor eating area and small fire pit.
My only issue is the home is in a fully residential neighborhood, there is no village nearby to walk to, something we have come to appreciate when renting. A general store selling pizza and take out sandwiches is a short walk away on the rail/trail but that’s about it for any nearby commercial area. May not be a problem for many, we just prefer not to have to always drive for a drink or a casual meal.
Still, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the rental.
Clean, well decorated house in the Cape. Check in was super easy. Loved the adorable and quiet neighborhood so close to the bike trail. This was the perfect house for our family of four and our dog (could have easily had 6 which is what house can accommodate). Easy drive to many beaches, grocery store, and restaurants. We would DEFINITELY stay here again.
The space was quiet, clean and bright for our cape stay. The yard space was lovely too.
