Unit was just as seen in pictures with accurate description. Plenty of room in lounge, bedrooms and parking was easy. Kitchen well stocked if wanting to cook. Many dining options with in walking distance and cokes near by. Only 2 blocks from the Strand. Would recommend staying at unit

Location was great. But noisy area. Traffic and Tradie's banging and clanging all day.
Unit was very good, only complication upstairs room with 2 80 odd year old bit hard to get up and down stairs. good location close to shops pubs etc. would definitely stay again.
Andy's place was like a home away from home. We were very comfortable and the apartment was well stocked with everything we required during our stay. The supermarket was a short walk as were coffee shops and restaurants. As well as being close to The Strand, it is also in walking distance to Castle Hill's Goat Track if you are feeling energetic! We enjoyed everything about staying at Andy's place and highly recommend it.

The location was perfect, supermarkets and The Strand walking
We can't speak highly enough about this property/host! The location was fantastic - just a few blocks walk to the Strand/beach & the grocery store was even closer. The property itself was awesome- clean & airy, plenty of room with towels & handy amenities provided onsite. Andy was a wonderful host. He messaged me a couple of times w/suggestions for restaurants during our stay. When we first arrived there was no water & he jumped in right away to find out why. Turns out it was just a plumber who had inadvertently forgotten to turn water back on to the complex after a repair. But after traveling so far & being tired, Andy was so helpful in getting that rectified ASAP. Highly recommend this property!!
My family and I stayed at this property for a few days while exploring Townsville. It's in a fabulous location so close to all CBD amenities and the strand and beaches. Has everything you need for longer stays too. We particularly liked that it is the end unit and very spacious.
Felt like we where at home very clean we will be back for sure close to shops would recommend this place

I live in Sydney but find myself visiting Townsville regularly to catch up with friends and to enjoy the North Queensland lifestyle. When not in town I make my apartment on The Strand available to travellers. Hope you enjoy the ambience and convenience of my apartment as much as I do. My hobby is collector of music videos, mostly relating to bands that I grew up with from the rock & disco eras of the seventies and eighties. Also of African music but living in Oz you don't get any real exposure to the great talent available. I love good concerts but having hundreds of concert videos of my own this sets a sort of high standard in my mind as to what is a great, memorable concert and what is just an OK one. My top concerts have been: Niles Rogers & Chic in Sydney, Joe Cocker on the Gold Coast, Angelique Kidjo and Salif Keita both at the Sydney Opera House, Ricky Martin in Sydney, Hot Chocolate in Sydney, Lionel Richie in Sydney, U2 in Sydney.
