Why Frances Blackie chose Townsville City
Townsville was a regular holiday destination over the years. I purchased my Breakwater Quays apartment in 2010, I love the huge outdoor courtyard as this is where I eat all meals cooked on the Weber and entertain my guests visiting. When in Townsville I walk The Strand every morning, a great way to clear my mind and plan the day ahead.
What makes this Apartment unique
Walking distance to restaurants, cafes bars and cinemas. Bus and Ferry terminal directly opposite the apartment. Walk across road to catch Magnetic Island ferry and 20 minutes later in Magnetic Island.

Great location, modern - spacious with a gorgeous private yard
We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment and were sad to leave. Francis the owner was a text away from any question or concern and was friendly and easy to work with. Quite simply I loved staying there and would not hesitate to rebook it should I find myself in Townsville again. We stayed in this apartment for 22 days during January and February 2020 with my young adult daughter. It is a very nicely decorated (modern, minimalistic - comfortable) apartment on the ground floor of a nice three-story building complex. The apartment includes a gorgeous yard and has a large main living space. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need the large living area comes with tv (some local channels as well as Netflix.) The apartment has two bedrooms and one bathroom. The bathroom has a good large shower. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked really well. The bedrooms were a comfortable size. The apartment is very well equipped and it really big. There is a full laundry in the apartment with a washing machine and a dryer as well as a drying line outside. The complex is gated and there is onsite visitor parking that can be accessed as well as an assigned garage for the unit (of which I found a little tight.) The apartment location is excellent. The apartment is located at the end of the strand. There is a trail located just outside the building that is attached to the stand giving you about 2.5 kilometers of beachfront to walk along. The trail and beach area of the strand are gorgeous and all of this is just outside the doors of this wonderful apartment.

We really loved being walking distance to the strand,the shops ,clubs etc
I recommend dusting the ceiling fans but other than that we loved our stay.
Such a nice place and so generously provisioned. We stayed one night and we had eggs and bread and coffee all provided. Beer and wine too. Exceptional!

The property was within walking distance of so many restaurants & activities & was incredibly comfortable. We felt very comfortable at the property & had everything that we needed. In addition, the property manager was really easy to work with. We would definitely stay at this propery again.
