Great spot for a hiking weekend in Riding Mountain Park
This trailer was an affordable and comfortable accommodation for our group - four seniors who enjoy an annual hiking weekend at Thanksgiving time. The trailer was well-equipped and the property was quiet and scenic. We had a great time.
We enjoyed our camper stay at Sunset. Nice and close to Riding Mountain and very peaceful. Our hosts were awesome and Kelly greeted us and showed us around as soon as we got there. We had an issue with the toilet and he was there within 5 minutes, even tho it was after 10 PM. The bunk beds were not great but master bed was so comfy!! The blinds could use a little love and the table sectional seats need to be recovered as they were quite dirty. Other than that, we loved it!! Thanks for the great camp adventure.
Mattresses were very uncomfortable. Found dirty dishes in the cupboard. There appeared to be something leaking from the ceiling above the dinette. The unit just seemed to be in a state of disrepair.

Hi Ken, thank you for your review. Had you informed me of your concerns during your stay, I would have corrected them immediately and could have moved you to a different unit with a different mattress. We rely on feedback from our guests about things that may need to be replaced, such as the mattress, as we don’t use the units ourselves. We weren’t aware of any leak above the dinette and that is something we wanted to look at immediately not 3 days later. We don’t check the dishes between guests, but I would have gladly gone and washed them all for you. It is a rare occurrence for guests to find dirty dishes, as most take care in washing their dishes. Hence why I don’t check.
