Newly Remodeled One Bedroom Condo at The Rockies - just 2 blocks away from Gondola Square and the heart of the Mountain. The condo layout is a wide open floor plan complete with dining area for six and a gorgeous kitchen with granite counter tops. Cozy up to a warm fire and relax in the spacious living area. The master bedroom is designed with enormous comfort outfitted with a king bed and its own private bathroom. Wake up, walk out on the balcony and enjoy the stunning view of the mountain as you get ready for your day. The condo was just remodeled and very tastefully decorated with true mountain feel. Perfect for longer stays as it has its own in unit washer and dryer.

The complex has heated seasonal pool ( summer and winter ) and 2 hot tubs. During the summer there are grills outside as well as sand volleyball court .

Great value considering the location, amenities and quality of the unit!

Good, but could be cleaner

Cleanliness was not the best I've experienced at comparable vacation rentals; bathroom floor did not appear to have been cleaned thoroughly, dishes in the cupboard had stuck on food/soap and needed to be re-washed before use, bedroom rug did not appear to have been vacuumed, and the comforter smelled unwashed. These were mostly small annoyances, and it was a good experience overall. Cleanliness aside, the unit itself and the amenities were as described in the listing.

Great condo, great location!

The condo was very clean and well stocked with everything needed for a wonderful family ski vacation. The location was perfect. Bus stop was right outside the condo making getting to and from the slopes super easy but also close enough you could walk. The pool and spa were also very clean and very close to the condo. We would highly recommend this condo.

Rocky's condominium review

I booked this VRBO online through reteatia, they are the property manager for the owners no problem there. I booked I paid a week before I got my instructions about the property and was advised that I need to stop off to pick up the key 4 miles from the property unusual for buildings of condo complex near the base of Steamboat Ski resort I had not experienced this before. I was also advised that I had to return the key to the office on my way out of town after leaving. They should advise you that this is their standard procedure when renting at this location there was no front office so nowhere to drop keys off or pick up keys at property requiring more detail to transportation when arriving from Hayden airport. The condo was nice recently remodeled there's a few things that need to be fine-tuned no big deal. The one suggestion I would have for the property owner is the master bedroom it was a one bedroom we rented had a tiny little dresser with four small drawers not even close to being big enough to put your ski gear and clothes for a week's stay a couple small nightstands on either side of the bed helped a little bit but they were small as well having ample dressers with big drawers in the bedroom is in the winter time a big convenience, there was a smart TV in the living room but it was only running off of the cable box and the remote did not control the smart TV function so therefore we could not use Smart TV with our apps like Netflix or Amazon prime or HBO Max etc. We went to Walmart we bought a remote control for the Samsung TV and we were able to access the Wi-Fi through the TV and use our apps.. We were on the end building and the walking distance in ski boots with gear was 8 minutes an uphill walk we didn't find it worth taking the shuttle to the ski resort. We did find some of the people that store skis businesses at the base of Steamboat would hold on to our skis for about $10 a night a benefit and not having to bring them home each night there was a large storage locker outside the front of the door which was very accommodating if needed the lock needs some attention.... Kitchen was well appointed plenty of everything the place could accommodate with a larger sofa there was only two of us so everything was okay there. Memory foam mattress in the king bed was not as bad as I expected they generally don't work too well in cold climate mountain communities the foam will stay hard this was a very firm.. I would stay again....G.
