Host was very responsive. The house is beautiful with all sorts of amenities which made our stay a wonderful one with extended family - there was something to do for all ages!
Our family of 11 stayed there for a week and absolutely loved it. Great views, large pool for the kids and a fishing dock for the fisherman in the family made it the perfect summer getaway. House is large and very clean and maintained.
Our family with small children enjoyed all the house had to offer. The big yard and pool were great.

Beautiful location - loads of room - great for a family reunion. Loved the deli just down the road. Had a great dinner at Fishermans Inn but all the other nights we catered in - lovely home - thank you for sharing.
Had an amazing time here and my friends and family. Property was well stocked and picturesque right on the water with the bay bridge in the background. Would definitely stay again.

Very lovely home and well suited for the 14 of us. Location is quiet, and close for trips to Annapolis and DC.Only issue was no action to complaints about shower not draining (my husband addressed), and kitchen water filter beeping for change filter indication, though I found in the manual that it was a warning, not change filter "now".
Perfect weekend escape for our group of friends! We lucked out on weather and enjoyed most of our time outside on the deck and by the pool. The house itself is beautiful and spacious. Communication was great! Definitely recommend and would love to stay again.
The house was the perfect place to stay for our sons wedding which was in Annapolis while the reception was on Kent Island. We had a wonderful time and the view was absolutely spectacular! The furniture & beds were comfortable, kitchen perfectly stocked, and the game room and basketball hoop were used often as was the chess set upstairs in a perfect location--the pool left us wishing it was warm and could have been used...we had a wonderful time and left with memories of a special weekend together in a great house!
The location is spectacular with expansive views of the Chesapeake Bay and the Bay Bridge. The house itself is immaculate and had lots of space for our family. I would imagine it's even better in the summer when the pool is available. One caution: the playhouse is really cool but not a place to let younger kids play unsupervised.
Home was very nice and comfortable. Some suggestions need extra stuff in kitchen like potato smasher, smaller frying pans and a few more dish towels.

8 adults, 4 teenage boys, one 7 year old boy. The pool and deck were the highlight of the week. The 7 year old was looking forward to the playhouse but it's unfortunately in disrepair and was impossible for him to play in it/on it. Needs lots of TLC. Grass was in dire need of cutting which was tended to immediately upon request. I was under the impression we could get in the water for kayaking or small boating but I found I read description incorrectly. Fishing was possible (but none caught). But time spent was enjoyed. LOTS of flies in the house. We turned that into a game!!! Game room was enjoyed. House is beautiful and very spacious. My disappointment in that was that there were no TV's in most of the bedrooms....not in the master. And the ones that were there, i.e. the kitchen area / pool table....there was no convenient sitting area to watch comfortably...so basically had to view from awkward angle or stand.... All that being said, the house was grand, the view of the Bay breathtaking, sunsets amazing! The family had a spectacular time. If they're happy, I'm happy! ESVR was amazing and wonderful. Responded to our every need and TIMELY! They were Great!

Beautiful location, great house for a group, unusable upstairs bathrooms
Blue Bay Haven was a perfect house for our family reunion attending the Navy Football game. Our ages ranged from 7 months to 74 years and everyone enjoyed the house, especially the setting on the Chesapeake bay and the game room. The kitchen was really well appointed and everything worked well.
The one issue that was really tough was how terrible the water in the upstairs bathrooms smelled. It was an incredibly strong sulfur smell to the point that it was unusable. I texted the property manager and his suggestion was to run the water. We did that and when I let him know it didn't work, he didn't respond. We made due by using the downstairs bathrooms, but it would have been a 5 star stay if we could have used all of the bathrooms.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Bay Haven. House had plenty of room for our party of 15, and we never felt crowded. Loved the pool table right in the kitchen area! Dining table sat everyone, and had plenty of room to play games. Great game room for the kids, though it could use a couch or some comfy chairs for hanging out. Kitchen was fairly well stocked, plenty of dishes & silverware, could use some extra dish towels. We never really used the deck, as it was too hot to sit at during the day, and the gas fire pit was either out of gas or not working. Could use some shade over the grill. By far the best part was the newly installed pool & seating area. Just gorgeous. Could definately use umbrellas in the pool are though, the sun during the day was blazing. Only negative (and we've had the same problem at other houses) is the house fly problem. There are ALWAYS so many flies in the house, no matter how many you kill. Not sure if there is a better solution than just having a fly swatter? Didn't help that the garbage only gets picked up once a week, and the outdoor bins were already full when we arrived. But I would not hesitate to recommend this property.
