This up to date, spacious 5 BR 3.5 bath home is the 5th house from the ocean in S. Bethany Beach. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach, which is the only beach in the area that allows alcohol. There are 5 decks including a roof top deck with a view of the ocean and canal. The home boasts 2450 sq. ft. and fully loaded sleeps 14 comfortably in eight beds (see below). There is covered parking for 4 vehicles as well as additional uncovered parking outdoor showers and charcoal grills.



Please bring your towels and these linens: 2 Kings, 3 Queens (including pull out couch), Bunk room with double/full + 2 singles. Blankets/Coverlets and pillows are provided. If you prefer to rent them we recommend Gale Force Rentals in Ocean View.



Included with your booking are 7 different activity passes EVERY DAY within 30 minutes of most homes. You receive one pass per activity, per home, per day including:

Loved our beach week with extended family. Great location and space for all! A little more wear and tear than some, but it was clean and spacious. Liked having the extra den space downstairs and got lots of use of the screened in porch.

House was what we needed for our annual family trip. It was close to the beach, in a nice neighborhood, walking distance to a lot of things and affordable. Best aspect of the house for us was the living space as it provided enough space for all of us to gather, chat, cook, eat and play games. Also, the pantry was key for all of our food! There were a few things that could have been fixed, but minor. Otherwise I would say the showers in the house could have been updated and there were small ants in the kitchen. Thanks for a great week!

Great location

Great location to beach and all other activities. We had 11 people staying and there was plenty of room. We did have an ant problem in the kitchen, but not a real big deal. Overall the house is great but could use a little maintenance here and there. Again, not a big deal. The biggest complaint from all that stayed was the beds. They could be upgraded. Overall we had a great time there for our second year.

Good property location

The location of property was fine. There was plenty of room for the 9 of us. We had an issue with the roof top cushions but the owners replaced them within a day! The only thing that was a problem was the TV’s in master bedroom downstairs and in the bunk room had no remotes that matched the name on the tv. We didn’t tell proper Manager about this bit just a heads up. The floors in the screened in porch and roof top need to be deeply cleaned. Our feet were so dirty after walking on them. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The house was great and perfect for our family. The walk to the beach was easy for us and plenty of space for the 11 of us that we weren't all on top of each other. The rooftop deck was a nice bonus as we got to see a rocket launch from Wallops Island while we were there. The only complaint was due to the housekeeping. The kitchen counters did not appear to have been cleaned prior to our arrival and there was a swimsuit left in one of the bathrooms. Makes you wonder if they cleaned the bathroom at all. There was only one house key which wasn't a problem for us, but could be for other groups and there was only 1 South Bethany parking pass but we didn't even use the one.

Great location, Spacious family rental, and solid value

My family really enjoyed our stay here. We had my wife and I with our 2 kids, My sister/brother in law and their 5 kids, and my parents. Ages ranged on kids from 15 to 5. Space: At no time did we feel like we were on top of each other or packed in too tightly. The living area that’s connected to the kitchen and dining room has ample space. The couch set up and seats around the large bar top in the kitchen made it easy for us all to move around and not feel overcrowded. Location: The location is perfect. You’re a 2 minute walk to the beach. The house is in a community on the bayside and the house backs up to coastal hwy. It’s positioned far enough back from the road though that you never feel like you’re near it. You can walk out of the house, walk 100 yards, and you’re right at the crosswalk on coastal. press a button, street signs light up, and cars stop so you can walk across. You come into the beach side community, walk another 100 yards, & your feet touch sand. We brought our golf cart and never used it Cleanliness: Only negative is the cleaning company the property management company uses. They weren’t thorough. Expect to do an hour of cleaning upon arrival. You have to bring your own linens and towels but I recommend bringing your own pillows and comforters as well. The ones they have should be thrown out honestly. Amenities: A bonus was everything they provided with the house: 6 bikes, beach push carts & chairs, kayak, stand paddle & boogie boards, toys,

We stayed in the Bethany Beach house for a few winter months after we moved from CA. It was great to have a furnished place to stay in while we explored the area. The house was big and comfortable and had everything we needed while our stuff was in storage. Even though a lot of places close during the winter months there were still plenty of restaurants nearby. Our favorite was Summer Salts which you can walk to from the house. We loved the house and the community and are currently looking to buy in DE.

The Property Manager Jeremy was great to work with. The home is In a great location close to the beach and within walking distance of restaurants, bars and Ice cream. Nice family atmosphere in the neighborhood and on the beach. The smell from the washing machine was not noticeable during our stay and the home was cleaned nicely before our arrival. We would rent this home again.

PROS: Good space for large multifamily group of 10 adults and 3 children Good room layout Nice decks with ample furniture, fan on screened porch. Well stocked kitchen equipment Convenient beach access Friendly neighborhood, very walkable. Convenient shopping within walking distance 2 outdoor showers, outdoor faucet with hose and clothes line with clips made post beach clean-up very easy. Ample parking off the street CONS: Heavy mildew smell on first level. Major source seemed to be the washing machine gasket. We used a washing machine cleaner on it twice. Recommend that renters be instructed to leave open when not in use, as there is always some amount of water in the HE machines. Odor dropped significantly after this. We also replaced the moldy shower curtain in shared bath on first level. Whole house needs a “deep clean.” Grimy baseboards. Toilet brushes should be replaced. Master bedroom carpet really dirty and stained. Dishwasher door is “floppy.” Must be locked to keep in upright position. Ice maker didn’t really work. Kitchen faucet needs to be replaced. Vacuum bags were overfull and no replacement bags were found, so couldn’t vacuum. Broom with broken off handle should be replaced. All sofas/couches very lumpy/saggy. They should be replaced. VBRO listing should be updated on following items: No beach chairs Grills are rusty and not really operable There is no door on first floor “den” which is considered a sleeping area with pull out queen sofa
