Not clean would not recommend

While this place has character and charm, we found bugs crawling in the bed along with mouse poop in the bed and in the kitchen. Would not recommend

Cute little house.

The house is clean, very good street parking. My only issue is the floors have a lot of dips and humps. The looks The same as the pics.

Hideaway Place to Study, Work, & Relax

My husband and I loved this place to relax as we worked and I studied for classes. It is cozy and comfy. The swing on the front porch was nice. I just wish the was a street view from the swing. The host was always available and welcoming.

Lovely property, make sure you get your check-in info early

This is a very pretty and charming home, in a quiet neighbourhood but within walking distance of restaurants, stores and night spots. We had a great stay. Our check-in was complicated, and it was difficult to contact the host, so I recommend you get all your check-in information in advance of your arrival at the house. But I still warmly recommend the house as a lovely place to stay.

Mediocre, not worth the price

The place needs a lot of attention. Black mold spots on the ceiling, smelled like humid old wood, it was cold in houston on my last night and I tried to put on the heater and it was blowing out cold air…I looked it up and it’s most likely the air filter is dirty. I went straight to bed because I was so cold. The thermostat said it was 56 degrees inside the house. Oh and as a woman who stayed alone I felt like I had no privacy, would it kill to add more curtains? And for the curtains that were there, totally see through from both inside and outside the house. The only nice thing was the location. I really wanted to like it here but the overall experience was low key uncomfortable. Not worth the rate they made me pay.

Cute hidden gem!

This place was absolutely the cutest. Location was great & it was quiet. The host was attentive & checked in on me during my short here. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Houston.
