Relax in its clean and beautiful large bedrooms (King and Queen) and in its spacious bathroom which includes a tub. High 9’ ceilings and large windows to admire the fantastic lake views from most indoor areas and also from its private patio and garden. This walk-out lower level flat has independent Access and Parking. It is Ideal for 1-2 couples or a family looking for a nice vacation retreat. Weekly rentals are from Saturday to Saturday only.
ACTIVITIES
You will love the direct access to the clean water (blue flag rated) and sandy beach. You will have spectacular sunsets while barbequing, having a nice drink or just relaxing. You can enjoy town festivities all year round, fishing and water sport activities, direct access to trails for biking, running or walks on the beach board walk. Victoria, Rotary and Dunsmore Parks are at walking distance, as well as Victoria Park Gallery and the Lighthouse Museum. No need to drive to attend local events such the Summer Saturday’s Scottish Pipe Band and Flea and Farms Market, or relish at downtown shops, restaurants and bars. There are two golf courses within a 10-minute drive.
LOCATION
The home is located in the top waterfront residential area in Kincardine with direct access to the Station Beach, and walking distance to the Harbour, the Lighthouse, major Parks, and the town’s shops and restaurants. This historic Scottish town is in Bruce County, within 2 hr drive from London, Kitchener-Waterloo and Guelph, and about 3hr from Toronto.
RULES
Maximum stay of 6 people of any age. Please note that this is a non-smoking rental. Well-behaved small dogs may be permitted during the summer months. Owner (husband and wife) use the upper level of the house as a vacation home, but the suite has independent access. Given the house is in a residential area not load music, parties or events are permitted. Also, due to insurance restrictions and to minimize property risks, the fireplace is not to be used by tenants, neither the creation of any kind of fire on the property. Please also note that there are some steps to access the unit and the Beach, and the garden is landscaped with large stones which could be a hazard for younger children. Visitors are not allowed; exceptions may require owner’s approval. Tenants are responsible for their own content any damage to the property. One lining set per bed is provided as well as one towel per guest. Laundry mat in town is a short drive. Taking house items to the beach or any place outside of the property is not allowed including linings.
