Centrally located in the heart of Daylesford on picturesque Millar Street is Houlet House, a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom cottage accommodating up to 6 guests. The property is conveniently placed just 350 meters to the main street, 500 meters from stunning Lake Daylesford and 750 meters to Daylesford’s famous Mill Markets, making Houlet House the ideal base to settle in and explore the region from.
The Space:
The house itself has 3 large bedrooms with queen beds and wardrobes, a cosy living room with gas heating and a newly renovated kitchen and bathroom. Outside one of the key features of the property is the large decking with gas BBQ and large outdoor dining setting with enough seating for everyone, while a huge backyard is perfect for fur-guests with the house being pet friendly. Houlet House is loaded with country charm and perfect for groups looking for a balance of affordability, comfort and convenience.

Daylesford and surrounding region has long been considered a special place of healing, relaxation and indulgence. Nestled at the foothills of the Great Dividing Range, the region is most famously known for its natural mineral springs and is home to some of the best restaurants, cafe’s, galleries, wineries and distilleries regional Victoria has to offer. Located just under an hour and a half from Melbourne, the region is home to some of Australia’s most spectacular natural landscapes brimming with native flora and fauna. There is a limited bus service operating between our beautiful towns. The PTV website will provide the most up to date schedule/timetable. There is a taxi and maxi-taxi local service which can be contacted. Unfortunately Uber has not quite reached us yet.
