Lovely place and location but....
Initially we had trouble gaining access as the wrong code was supplied. However the host was responsive and good communication and rectified problem. We got in within an hour. The host was responsive, location, and the property is aptly named. However, the floors had not been washed. They were extremely dirty filthy. I was taken back. I had to sweep them twice and clean. If i could upload the photos i would. I did contact the host after but he said we should have contacted him earlier so our stay could have been better. But we only had a few days and it was our time away and it was supposed to be cleaned before arriving. We paid for cleaning? We left the place alot better. I even swept the deck for the next people as well.. I had tried a number of times to reach out and send our photos. He was only interested so he could tell the cleaners for the next people not offering anything to us. I have kept photos.

Lovely relaxing getaway
Such a tranquil location with bushland surroundings from the front porch. Perfect to relax outside on a warm day & on the cold night we sat in the back lounge room on comfortable couches with the fire going. I have rated everything 5 star…my only suggestion is to turn the hot water temperature up as the shower lacked any pressure. Also only a small thing but there were a lot of scented diffusers in the house…I think we counted 9 in total.😂 As a hayfever sufferer we relocated them under the porch outside for the stay. To be honest the house didn’t need them as it was super clean & definitely not stinky. Thanks for the stay we absolutely loved our relaxing getaway.

Serenity stay was so serene
Very lovely home with all the modern comfort and technology for our family of 4. Enjoyed the two lounge spaces to watch different movies on Netflix. The owner was easy to converse with and was great to go on a long walk in to the surrounding area and see the springs. Beds were comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the ambience of the house.

Peaceful, cosy family stsy
A perfectly appointed family stay, lovely bush location, wild life, thoughtful and considerate touches. A cosy, warm home, with the added attraction of an open fire. Patricia and Marios
We are a family of 4 who love getting out to our property in Daylesford with friends for a wine, sharing a great home cooked meal and ultimately ending up relaxing out on one of decks or in front cosy fire–place. We have two gorgeous daughters who love joining us and staying at “Serenity”, always making sure they make good use of all kids’ amenities the property has got to offer.

We both work in corporate environment. We enjoy travelling and spending good quality time with family and friends.

Why they chose this property

We love visiting Daylesford area and staying at our house. We named it Serenity not by chance. The house is located in a truly serene setting, away from hustle and bustle, surrounded by trees and visited by birds and Australian native bush animals - i.e. kangaroos. Quite often we would go out to bush walk to nearby picnic grounds and natural springs spot. Also we like going to nearby horse ranch to have a family horse ride or just feed friendly horses at the ranch. Loving the fact the house is so close to the town - 2 min drive, it provides us with convenience and ability to enjoy the gourmet wine and dine experience.

What makes this property unique

Close to town but feels like in the middle of bush. Very private and gorgeous setting. Couple of separate spacious living areas and outdoor decks makes it easy for all to find their space and enjoy. The fireplace adds to magic.
